Im nervous about sharing this. I finally finished my 2024 temperature blanket. I was hampered by house renovations and a frozen shoulder. It's big enough to cover a king-size bed, and I estimate it took me over 180 hours to complete.

Well @AmazonUK saved my life today. The jigsaw I ordered yesterday for mother in law was delivered despite the storm and we now have peace, perfect peace.

We have 90 mph winds here today. My neighbour put his waste bin out at 7 am. The bin lorry is due at 9.30 am TOMORROW. #StormBoelo

I don't generally like flavoured crisps, but these are my new addiction.

I've just deleted over 2000 emails and now I'm feeling all badass.

Mil is going in for a small op on Thursday, she's then coming to stay with us for 10 days. Today we are cleaning like the pope is coming to visit.

Hubby just gave me a lovely gift, a huge box of coloured pens. I'm away to sort them into order, very sad 😅

We were at the till in Sainsbury's and the guy in front handed me a £9 off a £60 spend coupon, I thanked him very much. Said to the operator I don't think I've spent that much, if I don't use it I'll leave it for the next person. Spent £67 😩 so grateful for the coupon.

Never fails to make me smile

The last time I was in M&S I bought a lovely plastic shopping bag for my groceries as it was raining heavily. Took MIL out today and on the way home she threw up in my lovely M&S bag. Between spews she uttered the word "quality" as she felt the bag 🤣

A good opportunity here to let someone know you care.

MIL was staying with us this weekend. We took her out Saturday and Sunday, St Andrews, Dundee and Arbroath. MIL loved it, but mainly because she did ALL of her Christmas shopping 😲😲😲

This guy is something else. He's so relatable, and willing to try anything.
