I think what’s interesting is that last night I saw more commentary about Obama saying the WH renovations were tacky than Trump admitting he doesn’t care about Americans struggling to pay for gas.
MAGA republicans will allow Trump to steal billions of their dollars because…Obama derangement syndrome that was identified as a contagious disease in 2008.
Trump got billions richer while sitting in the White House & not 1 Republican in Congress lifted a finger to stop it. They’re all cool w the grift as long as they get their cut & the base stays angry at the right people. You can’t even pretend this is about governing anymore. It’s a family business & you’re paying the bill.

This whole “cities are bad!” shtick that rural conservatives do is just cope for their lack of opportunities and horrific drug problems.
Nowadays crime has gone up so much in rural America that it now rivals crime in cities.
Folks see this and assume cities must be even worse.

Sam darnold is playing the same way he played last year. He led the league in turnovers but was accidentally winning games and being saved by elite defense and special teams.
Sam Darnold is Sam Darnold. The turnovers have been his thing for his entire football career. He’s not playing well because he’s not the kind of QB who can work clean under heavy pressure.
Seattle knew that going in. Yet they allowed their premier run game to just walk out the door in the offseason. The pressure Darnold is under is because they are completely one-dimensional on offense.
Darnold isn’t “getting bad.” He’s not functioning well because they pulled him out of his zone of comfort and put him in the exact situation where he is guaranteed to fail.
Seahawks fans are blaming Darnold. They should be blaming John Schneider. He’s the one responsible for the current dilemma.
And if Mike Macdonald didn’t fight to keep Kenneth Walker around, he’s to blame as well.
