Been saying it forever Rick, but it eliminates 6-0 in their mindset.
I’ve been on teams loaded with great players that still didn't win.
Talent gets you in the gym. What wins is the stuff that never shows up in a box score: making the extra pass, taking the charge, being the first one to pick up a teammate when he's down. Dean Smith had his scorers point to the passer for that reason. Nobody wins alone.
It works the same way in business. Your best performer isn't always your best teammate. The people who make everyone around them better are the ones who build something that lasts.
Being a great player doesn't make you a great teammate. That's a choice you make every day.

It must be Sunday! The usual NBA Police Department, always swarming players like ants at a picnic for violating their so-called perfect protocol, is suddenly quiet as a church mouse. Funny how that works! 🤷🏾

Former NBA head coach and analyst David Fizdale thinks rookie Yaxel Lendeborg needs to slow his roll after going back and forth with Luka

I agree with Draymond, go at any player between the lines, but outside the lines as a rookie shhh. Between you and him and not conducting a press conference.
Did Draymond take this kid in a room and pulled a Phil Jackson with some incense and hallucinatory babble. Rookie breaking down Luka like he been around for years ! Be quiet and be a rookie and learn. This rant after one game is unreal!
Yaxel Lenderborg on his NBA debut and guarding Luka: "I got to see what the NBA is like, man. Lot of flopping, lot of foul baiting, lot of praying to the ref. Interesting first game for me... Being in there firsthand, just watching all the whining and complaining, I lost all respect. That was awful"

"Yeah, it was interesting. I got to see what the NBA is like, man. Lot of flopping, lot of foul baiting, lot of praying to the ref. Interesting first game for me, for sure.
I had a lot of respect for him (Luka). You know, just watching. I didn't really watch the NBA much, I just watched highlights. Seeing him, you know, kill people all the time. But then being in there firsthand, just watching all the whining and complaining, I lost all respect, man. Like that was awful.
Like me getting frustrated, it's not about the foul being called, it's about him complaining the entire game. And then you get the foul call, congratulations bro. And then you talk to me like you did something great, bro? Come on, dog. That's just weak. It kinda threw me off for a little while, cause you know, like I said, I had so much respect for him. Gone man, gone.
I was telling him he sucks, he can't score on me. You talking and you can't score on me. I said it the whole game. I said a couple cuss words obviously, you know, that's why I got the technical and all that. But I was letting him know, because he was laughing and talking all this because of that one foul call.
His only bucket on me was a banker from half court. Like I know that it's a team sport. You know, he had 28pts on us as a team. Me, I took my matchup personally. Tried not to get caught on the fouls. Tried my best. I was thinking about playing him with my hands behind my back to see if that worked, probably would've still got a foul call."

The best thing to do is walk in locker room and forget all about this butt whipping. The Blazers are a problem. We saw that last year.
This is not a pretty sight. I am more interested if we are going to see pride step up in 2nd half. @Suns fans!
A new season is here, @Suns fans, and I’m fired up about this team!
One thing you can count on EVERY night is EFFORT! When you spend your hard-earned money, you deserve a team that brings energy, passion, and excitement!
It starts tonight against the Blazers and runs through April 11 against the Lakers!
What are YOUR expectations for this Suns team? What do you want to see this season? 🏀🔥
No it is not a travel. It is a splendid unreal move. Shai is special and will not be conceding his MVP. He is so efficient, that whoever takes it will have to knock him out statistically to take it away!
😂.
This IG post was shared with me. Not sure who Coach London is, but his reliance on AI does not make him look good. Any list of top Illinois players of all-time without Bruce Douglas on it is invalid. Same with Marty Simmons. And Chris Collins isn’t even the best player in his family. Who else did he miss? #IHSA
