One million people across Europe missed their cancer diagnosis during lockdown period.
Where is the outcry? Where are the emergency press conferences? Where are the TV updates?
Honestly thousands and thousands of people will die because of this - many already have.

Sorry to repeat myself, but you *really* need to know this.
Under the government's Public Order Bill, anyone who has protested in the previous 5 years can be forced to "submit to ... being fitted with, or the installation of, any necessary apparatus" to monitor your movements.

It still feels like it's in its infancy - but it's exciting to see the democratising potential for anybody to get ideas off the ground

which helped lay a strong foundation

...But IMO was most valuable for meeting a community of curious + aspiring entrepreneurs
Without which, I wouldn't have got this far or feel as energised to continue pursuing some design problems
I'd really recommend it for anyone getting started

🌍 Discovered @workonclimate's slack group this wk & w/in a few days have had video calls, chats + bounced ideas off with people across the world.
Energising community to be a part of & would urge anyone with an interest in climate + tech to join!

Some takeaways:
1) There is an abundance of funding and opportunity in the environmental + tech space
2) It's a supportive community of experts who are generous with their time
3) It feels like a great time for anyone to apply their skills in this space

Enabling products to nudge behaviour + reward the planet. Absolutely brilliant idea!
