Happy 80th Anniversary of the Railway Series, everyone! I uploaded a simple, short & sweet tribute video today, just so I had something out on the actual anniversary date itself. It's nothin' to extravagant or fancy, but I hope you all enjoy it nonetheless:youtube.com/watch?v=kOWdua7C…

06 November 2005 At least one of these pic files were from this date on the 7 month operation tour from the same time in Iraq in 2005. I also went in 2003 for 1 month. For those who don't know I used to be a British Solder, joined in 2002 and left sometimes in 2007 at age 22...I'm now 41! Middle pic and bottem left pic in these pics. For the bottom left pic we unofficially nick-named it 'Operation Logbook' as the Helicopter landed close by, blew the logbook out the Sanger (Observation Post) into the road and as a result we had to get fully kitted up with ECM / Electronic Countermeasure equipment and go on a patrol to retrieve it lol

Now it’s said that the models in series 1 were loosely based on CRD’s illustrations. So it’s possible that the models for duck, Donald, Douglas and so on were based on the illustrations by JTK and G&P Edward’s. Just with a few changes to them of course

Soon enough, it'll be 40 years since Series 3, 4, and 5 all aired, which is just... really insane to think about. ;-;

It is genuinely insane how Mattel is always banging on about how Thomas allegedly has no feminine/female characters yet conveniently seems to forget them if their name isn’t Emily, Nia, or Rosie. Even Annie & Clarabel were shafted in this latest reboot for the starter special…!

R.I.P. Such a talented voice actor. Hard to think that Goofy & Principal Skinner were voiced by the same person. Rewatching Steamed Hams will never be the same again!

Will do! When you open an image you might have to play with the url a bit to get it in its full size (change the 1 before .png to 10) cs1.animestore.docomo.ne.jp/… to cs1.animestore.docomo.ne.jp/…
