Good! Our cities and towns are no place for these dangerous, loud, polluting death machines!
You should only be using a car for intra urban journeys if you're disabled or taking heavy loads.

Partially for privacy reasons so I don't give out the actual name of my GP surgery when I make angry Twitter posts about them and partially because I'm angry that it takes that long to get through and if you don't call at 8 there won't be any appointments!

Or take the Elizabeth line to Bond Street or Tottenham Court Road. Both step free to train.

Maybe you should be campaigning for less car use and more use of active or public transport in London? Cars are dangerous, loud and polluting.

Took me 65 tries to get through. Most of them my phone just went "line busy" and couldn't even put me through. I think most people just gave up at that point.
Here's just a friendly reminder to wear an FFP3 mask if you're going to the GP or any medical venue, especially while sick!
Surprisingly I actually got an appointment despite it taking me nearly half an hour to actually get through.
Obviously all the doctors are off sick because nobody is wearing FFP3 masks and everyone is going to the GP while sick.

This is obviously going to be a great success and soon everyone will wonder why it wasn't done decades earlier.
Hopefully everyone else had that problem with their phones going "line busy" and just gave up unlike me.
Welcome to [GP Surgery]. All calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes. If you have a medical emergency, please hang up and dial 999.
For appointments, press one.
You are currently caller number - 15 - in the queue.
Finally! After 70 attempts I got through!
It's nearly 08h and I'm running on 3 hours' sleep, but I need to get through frantically to my GP as soon as their lines open!
Maybe leave the 2 tonne death machines at home?
This is just embarrassing.
In 2019, Notre Dame burnt down.
The damage was immense, costing nearly β¬700 million to fix.
It took 5 years to reopen to the public.
In the SAME WEEK, Hammersmith Bridge closed because of some structural damage.
It didnβt burn down, and it didnβt collapse.
Cars and buses were banned from using the bridge.
Seven years later, it STILL has not reopened.
We have spent Β£60 million since the closure, and we are nowhere close to opening it again.
This is what happens when we forget how to build.
Bridges close, and we are just meant to accept they will never open again.
Potholes appear in the roads, and they never get fixed.
Trains get delayed, and thatβs just βhow it is nowβ.
We should never accept this.
We are campaigning against it. Join us.
What do you think?

Tell that to the 70 million passengers per year at Bond Street Station which drops you off on Oxford Street!
Oh and there's another Elizabeth line station at Tottenham Court Road which probably takes roughly the same amount of passengers, plus various smaller Tube stations...

This is euphoric oh my god We did it!!! Now we must get to work removing the carriageway to make this less reversible
I'm often sleeping 12+ hours a night, or not sleeping at all. When the former happens I'm also skipping 1 or 2 of the daily meals. It's not nice.
