Good Evening, Bonsoir! Today, on her evening walk, WhiteLily decided to visit the Tower of John the Fearless, in Paris's 2nd arrondissement. In 1407, John the Fearless, Duke of Burgundy, arranged the assassination of his cousin and political rival, Louis of Orléans, the brother of King Charles VI. After the murder, John had the imposing tower built to assert his authority and strengthen his Paris residence. Who knows? Perhaps on Halloween night, the ghost of the old duke might return to this world once more to reclaim his tower!
