Suddenly, Poland has been wiped from my timeline. Anyone else noticing this?

She’s right and this forgotten concept might be the single biggest change to our world in the last 25 years. 🫤

So all other races and cultures can choose their own and it’s not an issue but if white people do it, it’s not ok. Interesting.

Incase you were wondering - Out Of Africa is officially DEAD. RIP, good night.
Dr. Eleanor Scerri of Max Planck Institute says the idea that humans originated in Southern Africa based on the fact that the oldest haplogroups are located there is unlikely. gea.mpg.de/person/52339/2944

The idea that Catholicism is just blind obedience to the Pope is a caricature, it is not what our faith is. Countless saints, leaders and Catholic heroes have disagreed with the Pope, and even died excommunicated. People have gone to war with the Papal States. Dante put Popes in hell. To say to someone who disagrees with the Pope that “just become Protestant bro” or “this is why we had the reformation” or something along those lines, demonstrates a misunderstanding of our faith. The concept of leaving the corporeal body of believers over opinionated disagreements with temporal leaders is something that only really showed up 3/4th of the way through Christian history.

Understand that a woman physically cannot understand this from a male perspective. It’s that recently touted study that men feel pleasure when the guilty receives his due desserts, while women feel empathy regardless of the guilt of the recipient. Because she can’t feel satisfaction at justice brought to a murderer in that visceral way, she must assume that those who do are suffering some kind of dysfunction, some kind of evil “blood lust.” It doesn’t help that there are plenty who are feeling blood lust. She has no way to discern from those the millions who are feeling hunger for justice, physical justice, the killing of a murderer. It is incomprehensible to her that this yearning might not be evil but Godly.
Bloodlust will be our downfall.

I have noticed that all the legion of clergy that are arguing against the public execution of Nidal Hassan are doing so from emotion. "Its disgusting." "Its beneath us." "Its not Christian." But none of them are arguing from Scripture. There is a reason for that.

Mess up an execution and the state rushes the person to the ER. Mess up an abortion and the child is left to die.

This whole "blame the boomers" narrative is getting old. If the people you're complaining about are 46–61 years old, most of them aren't boomers. They're Gen X. And honestly, Gen X is exhausted from hearing the same complaints on repeat. We didn't get free college. Most of us never had guaranteed pensions. Housing wasn't magically cheap when adjusted for inflation, and plenty of us spent decades working, sacrificing, and starting from scratch. Every generation faces its own challenges. Ours did too. The difference is that we were taught that life isn't fair, nobody is coming to rescue you, and success usually comes from adapting, working, and pushing forward when things don't go your way. You don't have to like that message, but constantly looking for someone else to blame won't improve your situation. At some point, personal responsibility matters more than finding a new generation to be angry at.
