Clayton boys basketball is going to be a problem for everyone else in 4A this year. My goodness.
Comets lead 38-13 at halftime over Raines (FL).
And they don't even have their full team.

2026 5’10 PG Christian Barnes (Northern Nash) finished with 15 points 7 assist in a win over East wake. Tight handle, never rattled, Capable creator for self & others.

Christian was a welcome surprise last season with GRBC Select 2026, tracking to have a really successful JR season with Northern Nash this year alongside the talent at hand!
Make PG play matter again!

2026 6’4 Guard @Asany11Richmond of @GroadBballClub @GRoad16USelect Plays with great feel and pace for the game. Willing passer with a knack for getting strong paint finishes at the rim. Long wirey defender with good off ball awareness and stays in the passing lanes. Coaches be on the lookout this season for him as he starts to make a big leap in this class.
