When I reviewed the surveillance footage, I started paying attention to details that might otherwise go unnoticed.

When I had lost my career, my home, and nearly everything I'd worked for, she chose to stand beside me.
She didn't sign up for an easy life. She stepped into one of the hardest chapters of mine, with two teenage girls and an uncertain future.

I reported what I believed were serious election irregularities because I took my oath to the Constitution seriously.
Then I lost my job and fought for my First Amendment rights in federal court.
The courts ruled that my speech was connected to my official duties. My case never reached a jury.
I still believe public servants should be able to speak up when they see something wrong.

Three days after his father became defense counsel for people involved in the investigation, the chief deputy district attorney signed off on closing that same criminal investigation without charges.
That timeline raised serious conflict-of-interest questions for me.

We performed CPR for nearly 30 minutes, but we couldn't save that life.
After years in the fire service, those calls never get easier. You give everything you have, knowing you can't always change the outcome.
That call was also the only reason I happened to be at the fire station that day.
I had no idea how much that would matter.

What am I teaching my daughters if I see something I believe is wrong and choose to look away?
I've asked myself that question throughout this fight.
I believe public service comes with a responsibility to ask hard questions, uphold ethical standards, and demand accountability.
That's the example I want to set for my girls.

Its so impossibly stupid; you can’t check who’s voting, you can’t check how they count the votes, you can’t check the ballots that were used to vote, and voters cannot verify how their vote was counted. That is the definition of insanity and America should refuse to accept it anymore!!!!
Three days before the election, we held our first community fundraiser for the fire department. Families showed up, music was playing, and the community came together.
Then a call came in: a vehicle rollover with someone trapped inside.
We left the barbecue and went straight to work.
That day reminded me why we built that department in the first place. To be there when our community needed us.

I was fired on June 22. On August 1, I was told the criminal investigation had been closed without charges.
Months later, while reviewing court documents for my appeal, something clicked.
I woke up in the middle of the night and wrote three words in my phone: "Check the Vaughns."
That note led me to start asking questions about a connection I hadn't noticed before.

AND EVERY ONE OF THEM GOT A BALLOT.
That's what the federal government says it handed California.
Bill Essayli, the First Assistant U.S. Attorney in Los Angeles, says all 20,000 people DOJ flagged on California's voter rolls have been individually reviewed and confirmed as noncitizens.
And every one of them was mailed a ballot this month.
His words…
"We believe it's at a minimum of 20,000. That's the floor."
The ceiling?
DHS flagged nearly 200,000 possible noncitizens to California back in July.
DOJ isn't asking for anything drastic. Just set those ballots aside until it's sorted out.
California's answer…
👉 The counties aren't equipped or authorized to verify citizenship.
👉 Once a signature is verified, the envelope is gone and the ballot can't be traced.
👉 LA County alone has already processed 331,000 ballots.
So move along.
In business, if an audit turns up 20,000 bad entries in the ledger, you don't keep posting transactions and promise to reconcile later…

A voter showed me a photo of a poll watcher using her phone near the polling area.
Then she told me what she said she'd overheard: "Did you pay them?"

$657 into the tank in Iowa at the cheapest place I could find. Trying to save the Republic is painful on your own. But when we make it happen, it will be worth it. Hopefully this gets me to Utah.
It would certainly be nice if orgs were funding me every month, but then I would be beholden to them, and I just won't be obligated to anyone except the my fellow Citizens or anything but the Truth.
