$DECK underlying net income increased only about 2.6% after removing the estimated after tax tariff refund. But EPS excluding the refund rose approximately 11.5%, largely because there were 8.4% fewer diluted shares outstanding.

When you are live on an earnings call and the CEO or CFO pauses for five seconds before answering a question about accounts receivables, you feel something. You cannot explain it cleanly. You just know that pause meant something. Read the transcript two hours later and that pause is gone entirely. The transcript says he answered the question. It does not say he needed five seconds to decide how. When you visit management in person and the receptionist has been there for twenty-two years, that tells you something. When the parking lot is full at 4pm on a Friday, that tells you something. When the CEO walks you through the factory floor and he has unscripted personal dialogue with the line workers with what looks like genuine respect rather than performed deference, that tells you something significant about how this place operates. None of that is in the 10-K. microcapclub.com/the-last-mo…

In my experience, investing should be like watching paint dry honestly. I’ve definitely ridden the highs of speculation, Buying $ONDS below $1 and watching it climb to over $10 in less than a year was speculation in my investing process. Whereas buying $MU under $80 was more value mispricing hunting that I normally do. My point though is that investing should be quite “boring” in the sense that, besides outliers like these, you could buy a stock and watch it do literally nothing for 2, 3, 5+ years before the market confirms or denies your thesis. Patience pays in markets

I built a couple investing AI agents to help me with research, monitoring company filings, etc None of the advanced ones I’ve built (Young buffett, modern buffett, Munger, Thorpe, or druckenmiller) NONE of them will touch $NKE in fact, they even prefer $LULU to $NKE . But they definitely prefer $DECK + $BIRK to either of the former

I can underwrite a few with very conservative hurdles and still ink out a decent return from here

There’s some great “micro basket” buys like this where you can buy a basket of payments, shoes, casinos/real estate, some AI losers etc etc and have a pretty diversified portfolio with a strong probability of outperformance imo

$TME under $8 seems like a pretty good mispricing to me

There is a genuine mispricing in $PRKS The market is valuing the equity at only about $1.47 billion, while I can reasonably get to nearly that entire amount from SeaWorld Orlando alone at a private market enterprise valuation, then another billion plus from Busch Gardens Tampa,

Made $INTU a top 3 position here at these prices. Also added $VICI and $MBGL and of course more $DECK
