K-12 School Shooting Database documents when a gun is fired, brandished (with intent to harm (and not)), or bullet hits school property (unless it doesn't), and includes incidents miles away from the school.
The laws you helped pass created the system whete there was no one with a gun between the shooter and victims. YOU IDIOTS are the reason why by the time anyone could stop them, they were already dead. You just prefer the shooter has several more minutes of killing undeterred.
The NRA wants you to focus on how this was stopped, but the focus should be on how it started: a system that allowed a gun in the hands of a 16-year-old. By the time anyone could stop him, a 5-year-old, an 8-year-old, an 11-year-old, and their teacher were already dead. That’s not a reminder of anything except what our leaders failed to prevent.
With this information it might be good to point out the said study only counted shootings with 6 or more deaths, not the standard 4 or more. And the so called "assault weapon ban" had no effect on mass shootings during or after.

Elementary school should be about jungle gyms, math class, and making new friends—not learning where to hide from a shooter. We cannot keep asking our children to be brave enough to survive school shootings. Our leaders must be brave enough to stop them.

A huge reason why this is a thing is because of people like David Reidman, who counts things miles from schools, waving cell phones, police shooting a dog in the street as school shootings.

Giffords supports these tragedies so they can push their gun control agenda even further. Seattle is in a state where they have gotten nearly every law they have wanted passed, and it still isnt safe.
