Here is our work for #SMA24. Even though we didn't get nominated, we're still happy with our creation. We're looking to improve even more and move forward for our next project. GGs GGs

Panel transitions are the building blocks of sequential storytelling.✍🏻
They control how time and space shift between frames, which creates the framework for the readers’ mind to fill in the gaps (aka the "gutter"). (Pt.1)

In Japanese manga, Chapter 1 usually follows a proven rule:
Page 1 sets the scene, while Pages 2 & 3 deliver a powerful double-page spread to hook the reader and establish the story's direction.
Creators pour everything into these first 3 pages. In today's world of entertainment overload, reader attention spans are brutally short—if they can't grasp the story's hook within 3 pages, they move on.
Take "Spica and Voice of Books" as an example:
• Page 1: Introduces the protagonist and her love for books.
• Pages 2–3: A breathtaking spread signaling a world of extraordinarily detailed artwork.
