It's time to start thinking about your Spring 2022 tree planting project! Trees are preordered and stock is limited so order soon to avoid disappointment. Sites w/ 500 trees or more also include planting by KCCA staff and funding may be available to help offset the costs.

Since 2009, KCCA has planted over 150,000 trees through the #50MillionTreeProgram. These sites were 2.5 acres or greater and provide wildlife habitat, buffers for local watercourses and erosion control. The impact of the loss of this funding to future seasons is yet TBD.

#DYK that on average KCCA plants approximately 50,000 trees every year? Staff are gearing up for tree planting season with our 1st order of large stock trees for 2019! Over the next week these trees will be planted throughout the watershed.
