This morning it was announced that a memorandum of understanding has been signed between King’s and Cranfield University to explore a potential merger.
KCL UNISON has stressed the importance of protecting jobs, contractual terms and having a clear transparent timeline for staff.
KCL UNISON are also concerned that King’s would be taking on a financial risk with this decision that could negatively affect our members.
King’s have confirmed there will be regular consultation with UNISON and all recognised unions and KCL UNISON remains committed to defending jobs, pay and conditions for our members.
