The most impressive number in Tim Duncan's career doesn't come with a trophy. It's 1,072. That's how many regular-season games the Spurs won in Duncan's 19 seasons, against 438 losses. A .710 winning percentage across nearly two decades, and every one of those 19 seasons ended in the playoffs. He's the only player in NBA history to win 1,000 regular-season games with one franchise. Think about what that requires. Not one bad year. Not one season lost to a rebuild, a coaching change gone wrong or a contract standoff. The roster turned over around him more than once, from David Robinson to Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili to Kawhi Leonard, and the floor never dropped because the man in the middle never moved. That's the part of Duncan the highlight era misses. He didn't produce many moments built to go viral. He produced a standard. Five titles, three Finals MVPs, two MVPs, and a franchise that kept making the playoffs for three more seasons after he left. Greatness usually gets measured at the peak. With Duncan, the floor is the argument, and I haven't seen a stronger one for any big man in the modern game.

It was Tim's system. One thing I realized my year with them was that Tim built the damn thing. It was his brainchild. It was his basketball genius that made that shit the monster it was. IYKYK 🤷🏽‍♂️
Tracy McGrady says Tim Duncan is ranked as the greatest power forward of all time because of the team situation he was in. He argued that Tim isn't better than Kevin Garnett, claiming that Duncan couldn't do the things Garnett was capable of doing on the court.

ICE shot a New Yorker today while his five year old was in the car. But tomorrow, they're going to try to villainize this father and make themselves victims. We’re on the scene to tell ICE and Donald Trump: New York ain't no place to play with. We will protect our neighbors.

Duncan and Kawhi finishing off OKC in overtime 🔥 112-107 in Game 6, Duncan with 19 and 16. That set up the Miami rematch a year after the Heat beat them for the title. The Spurs lost Game 2 and then won three straight by double digits. Kawhi wasn't even an All-Star that season and took Finals MVP at 22. Duncan got his fifth ring.

Despite having 0 evidence, all SEVEN of Amazon Prime Video’s WNBA commentators excused and defended A’ja Wilson’s outburst. Even when the Fever said the fan didn’t do anything, they doubled down. Just remember when they say “diversity” they never mean diversity of thought.

Same league that held a moment of silence for Charlie Kirk
Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair was told by an NFL official to remove the name of Wafaa Akila, an 8-year-old Palestinian girl killed in Gaza, from his eye black during the Texans’ Week 2 game or he would not be allowed to continue playing, according to a league source. According to Reuters, Wafaa Akila was killed earlier this month by an Israeli airstrike. nyti.ms/4yWHU5I
