When you see a police officer thank them for what they do to protect our communities. Their efforts last night to assist our responding units to the 5 alarm fire shows their commitment to serve. Early in the fire they assisted with ladders & pulling lines for people trapped.
The teamwork and determination of 1st. Alarm crews to search for the trapped occupant and start fire attack under extreme fire conditions was an incredible effort by all. Rapid and early request for additional alarms also important. @Firemutualaid @KeeneFire @Local_3265
@KeeneFire units and several area Mutual Aid have operated since 2202 hours at a 5 alarm fire on Main St. First arriving units had heavy fire on three sides of the two story building.
Staffing matters, first arriving units arrived with 10 personnel. Within the first 15 minutes had multiple lines deployed for fire attack, rescued a civilian and rescued one of their own who had become lost during search. Great effort by our dispatch,@keenenhpolice, Diluzio Amb.
Diluzio transported two firefighters and a civilian. Thank you to all mutual aid fire and EMS units on the 5 alarms,@KFDC01 @EversourceNH @keenepwd @KeeneFire @Local_3265 @Firemutualaid
