This time last year I was unknowingly on my last hunting trip with father. Diagnosed with adrenal sarcoma in October and left us in January. Still super sucks, but I’m glad we got to have that last trip before we found out. He would’ve been 61 and retired for 1 year this month

I spent all of December home helping him and my mom, both of us trying to make up for wasted time. We settled on an important motto to remember, “Make memories, not plans” I miss his advice & perspective almost daily, it doesn’t hurt less it’s just less fresh.
