This week, I had the privilege of accompanying members of NKCA to the Hill to advocate for support of H.R. 8376, the Concurrent Care for Comfort Act. This important legislation would help ensure that patients with ESRD have access to compassionate, comfort-focused care.
NKCA was on the Hill yesterday advocating for high-quality kidney care. Thank you to all the staff who took the time to meet and have thoughtful discussions with us! Looking forward to continuing these conversations.

Had another successful @APTA_official Advocacy Day on the Hill with so many talented PTs. Special thanks to @RepMMM for her support of the profession! @pps_apta
Enjoyed meeting with Iowa members of the American Physical Therapy Association to discuss expanding access to physical therapy services, improving Medicare payment reform, addressing student debt, and making medical education more affordable, key priorities to strengthen Iowa’s health care workforce.
It's an absolute honor to work with @NKCAKidney & @DCI_Dialysis, and I'm grateful for @WaysandMeansGOP for allowing them to testify at yesterday's hearing on kidney care prevention and treatment.
Thank you @WaysandMeansGOP for holding today's #kidneycare hearing. We are honored that NKCA member, DCI's CMO, Dr. Robert Taylor, and his inspiring patient, Ashli Littleton, were invited to testify. We look forward to continuing this conversation and partnering with policymakers

Home dialysis gives patients greater independence and puts them in more control of their care. Expanding awareness and access to clear, reliable information is essential so patients can confidently manage treatment at home, respond to challenges, and make the most informed decisions for their health.
