While the guys were chainsawing and clearing the branches, they found two tiny kittens, maybe two weeks old, eyes open, huddled under the limbs. Took them in, bottle-fed them KMR for a couple days. Wife did the every-4-hour feeds. Put them out in a kennel in the shade so the mother could find them without hawks getting them. She kept coming back, stayed about 100 yards off at first. After a day or two she finally approached the kennel, took one, then came back 40 minutes later for the other. I was ready to keep them. Harder to let them go. But she came back for her girls. Took them inside at night and fed them KMR every 3 hours for 2 days

First we left them in kennel and stood guard so a hawk wouldn't snatch them in open area
