It’s easy to call for the abolition of the Senate. Are you ready to call for the abolition of the House of Commons, too?

I'm my own libertarian. I have been influenced by great men like Spooner, Rothbard, and Hoppe, but I am not those men. I am my own. My philosophy is my own based off those inspirations and my own critical thinking.
What type of Libertarian are you? I'm Hoppean

Libertarians don’t β€˜run for office’ to operate the machinery of the state, as others do, but to dismantle both β€” machine and office.

Libertarians don't believe every transaction is voluntary. They believe consent distinguishes voluntary transactions from coercion. Your landlord didn't create your need for shelter, and refusing to provide you with his property for free isn't coercion. You need food to survive, too. Does that make farmers your oppressors? Your argument isn't against exploitation. It's against the inconvenience of other people having rights.
Libertarians believe every transaction is voluntary, including paying a landlord half your income because the alternative is sleeping in your fucking car.

It’s such an unambiguous moral good to yell at politicians β€” at criminals who believe their criminality is β€˜different’ because it’s β€˜democratic’ β€” that it almost doesn’t matter what you yell.

Do you believe initiating coercion - whether by you or a paid agent (e.g., government) - against others' bodies or properties is ethical human interaction? "Yes" - You're an authoritarian "No" - You're a libertarian "Maybe" - You're an authoritarian #Libertarian

Socialism is not even good in theory, so don't bother trying to figure out how to make it work in practice.

There’s no world in which government permission slips don’t metastasize into β€˜digital ID.’ We have to oppose government permission slips themselves.

The most successful trick of the fiat system was making inflation seem like a law of nature instead of a consequence of monetary policy.
