After reading the @levelsio thread I've come to the conclusion it's not possible for Europe to be great again. The cancer is deep and the incentives are too strong. At a systemic + societal level it's simply not possible to fix. The continent is terminal.

An older neighbor friend of mine had a joke between us and it went - you can always tell who has never been through a natural disaster or had the power off for a week by how much they moan cry and complain about the patriarchy and men.

Almost every man knows the frustration of being able to fix a problem in an organization or group but being forbidden or locked out from doing so. That's largely what has happened across the West. And it's by design. This is why men are checking out and reassembling elsewhere.
