If you’re “out on the Yankees” then go. This isn’t the airport, you don’t have to announce your departure. Let those of us who enjoy baseball enjoy it in peace.
Oh right, this shit’s performative and Chris (and those like him) will be crying and bitching every day for forever.
If anyone in @YankeesFiles space was curious about my Chicken Parm.

Lots of poo-pooing on Jazz’s attitude toward baseball lately. Just bringing back this. It’s crazy how when players are down people on this app will typically try to kick them.
Jazz Chisholm Jr. said he’s talked to Derek Jeter, Bucky Dent and Willie Randolph about the importance of knowing the ins and outs of your double play partner. So he and Anthony Volpe have been “attached the hip” on and off the field this spring nypost.com/2025/02/27/sports…
“Ive been a Yankees fan my whole life” (but only when they win a championship) fans are the fucking worst. People like this say more messed up things about the Yankees than most Red Sox and Mets fans combined.
Why does this make it look like Liv and Chelsea are fighting Roman and Sami?
Champions vs Champions.

It’s time to Name That Yank!
Brian Cashman really had some people thinking this backup OF was going to be our starting CF.

NAME THAT YANK!
In a short career, this LHB/OF & former 1st round pick played for the Yanks for 3 seasons. Hitting all 4 of his career homers with us, 2 homers & 5 RBIs in his first 5 ABs. Often in the reserve role, he had a huge collision in the OF during a big Postseason game.
This is the SECOND PLAYER of this week’s theme.

My favorite part of this stat is that people read into it that “only home runs win games.” And those words are never said.
Hitting home runs is in fact a good thing. As is preventing the other team from hitting them. But never is it said that it’s the only thing.
It’s time to Name That Yank!
This RHP never enjoyed playing baseball.
“There’s a lot of responsibility as a starting pitcher, so rather than enjoy myself out there, I feel like I have to fulfill my responsibilities and that’s my priority.”

NAME THAT YANK!
This Japanese born RHP started his career with the LAD and spent 3 of his 7 major league seasons with the Yankees. Starting in 97 games in those 3 seasons, he threw 4 Complete Games and 3 shutouts recording nearly 500 strikeouts in 620 IP. With 38 wins for us, he had a great ALDS start where he nearly threw a complete game against BAL.

“Surround the kids” by getting worse players to play 2B and 3B?!?
What are we even doing anymore.
Even if BA is your thing, Vargas and Meidroth are above league average (.244 in 2026)
If I’m playing GM for the Chicago White Sox this offseason, my first order of business is figuring out how to get BOTH Ozzie Albies and Luis Arraez to the South Side!
Two proven big league hitters who bring completely different skill sets but understand the art of putting together professional at-bats and PLAYING WINNING BASEBALL!
The young talent is already there. Now it’s time to surround those kids with proven veterans who know how to WIN!
At some point, potential has to turn into production, and adding guys like this is how you start closing that gap!
