The @CNBC All-America survey is a great example of how worthless polling has become and, unfortunately, how easily people are manipulated. 80% oppose a datacenter within 10 miles of their home. Over 60% of the people living in Virginia TODAY live within 10 miles of a datacenter. Most people drive past a datacenter everyday and don't know it. There is a datacenter being built 2 miles from my house and I am one of the only people in the area that knows it. To the average person, it's just another building.
