From their own 24. In a tie game. With five minutes left to play.
Being a Lions fan must be a wild ride…
Fantastic…
One of the most surprising factors in Pittsburgh's 16-10 win over the Saints today was Aaron Rodgers' composure in the pocket and his ability to extend plays as things collapsed around him.
Here are some of the most impactful plays Rodgers made with his legs:
Kevin Smith retweeted
New on @AthlonSports: Jaylen Warren of the @steelers has become one of the NFL's best backs in the 2026 season, and what he did in Paris proved it all over again. How did this happen, and what makes Warren so great? athlonsports.com/nfl/jaylen-…
Top, the walk-off sack from Jalen Ramsey last week vs TB.
Bottom, Patrick Queen’s sack today that forced a punt on the Saints final drive.
Same stunt from Patrick Graham on what became the last offensive play by both teams.
Great timing from the Steelers DC. @SteelCNetwork
PIT 16, NO 10 -- Final
Offense:
148 rushing yards.
Warren - 21 touches, 137 yards.
Dowdle - 15 touches, 86 yards.
33 called passes, 30 runs.
Loved the gameplan.
Defense:
Shough goes 30-38 passing but NO scores just 10 points. The bend-don't-break approach prevails again...
Rodgers creating with his legs yet again! Steelers convert on 3rd-and-6 to take the clock down to the two-minute warning.
His mobility today has been invaluable to the offense.
Patrick Graham dialing up the same stunt that produced Jalen Ramsey’s walk-off sack last week vs TB. Patrick Queen gets home on this one to force a Saints punt midway through the 4Q.
Graham has shown a good feel for when to bring his pressures late in games.
Rodgers again extending a play with his legs, and a great grab by Brandon Smith to convert another third down. Steelers are 9-of-13 on 3D after ranking among the worst in the league the first six weeks. Big reason they lead by six heading to the fourth.
Nice fire drill operation by the Steelers to get three before halftime.
Run game is clicking. Hoping for less low % fade balls to Metcalf, more Warren and Dowdle in 2H.
On defense, going to need an answer for the Saints exploiting zone coverage with RB leaks and crossers.
Another communication error in coverage by the Steelers. Ramsey and Queen are late on the switch and Kamara leaks out for a big 3rd-down conversion.
Saints diced up the Steelers with crossers and horizontal routes on that drive.
Aaron Rodgers extending plays with his legs has been one of the biggest surprises with the Steelers offense this year. He didn’t do much of this last season. It’s paying big dividends.
Replay says this ball is not coming out before Shough’s knee hits the ground on the strip-sack from TJ Watt.
What angle are they looking at?
Three straight conversions on 3rd-and-short on this drive by handing the ball to Warren and pounding at the Saints front.
Steelers finish the 1Q with 62 rushing yards and 6.9 YPC…
Steelers blitzed Tyler Shough on two 3rd downs earlier in the Saints opening drive and Shough beat them with good throws vs man coverage.
Here, on 3rd-and-15, they play zone and almost get a pick from Patrick Queen.
Mixing coverage and pressure is the way to go vs Shough.
Steelers break out the Jumbo package on their opening drive and pound the ball down the field. Had to settle for a short FG but great to see them establish the run early.
Steelers defense keys to victory today vs NO:
1. Mix zone looks and use plenty of post-snap disguise to muddy the reads for Tyler Shough.
2. Lots of edge pressure from Watt, Herbig and Highsmith.
3. Sound communication on the back end -- no breakdowns that lead to explosives.
