there’s always going to be a delay between your actions and results.
go to the gym Monday, you won’t receive results Tuesday.
the bigger you can delay the result without giving up—the better and bigger your result.
I am tired of struggling …
tired of no results
tired of delayed gratification
tired of doing this for four years.
but this is the price of greatness—or so I’ve heard. The only question is:
are you willing, ready, and capable of paying it?
we often are willing to admit wanting something — while never admitting that, perhaps, we don’t have the gumption to make the trade. To eat the bland foods everyday and spend less, to give up the very things we want most.
all for what’s called ‘𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀’
we often want things without wanting to give the price it requires.
want: abs
𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲: bland foods
want: car
𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲: less spending on frivolous things
there’s always gonna be an attached price to whatever you want
I’ve been using time as an excuse not to post—I’ve been busy, hectic schedules and nonstop working.
but the truth is:
anything that is important, you make time for — friends, relationships, family.
Ive lied to myself
I’ve lied to you.
time is the only currency, the only commodity that, once its used—you can never get it back.
𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙 1 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙧;
➥ can’t get that hour back.
𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙙𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙨;
➥ can get it back.
use time wisely.
I ask myself am I doing enough.
enough effort,
action,
work.
the answer is unequivocally no. There’s always more to do, but always subscribe to being 1% better.
we often grossly underestimate the amount of work it takes to accomplish something monumental.
➥ its time
➥its energy
➥ its countless hours
don’t cope with this reality.
we all have therapy—this thing or person or event that calms us, brings us relaxation—for some it’s music or money, for others females or football, but for the odd rest like me, it’s writing.
find your therapy, and never abandon it.
there’s a huge difference between the success you want and the sacrifices you’re willing to make in order to get it.
in other words:
the success you want demands more sacrifice, more effort and energy from you.
bridge that difference, that gap.
enjoy the times, smile at them, actually—the doubts, the questions about whether you will make it, the uncertainty of it all, not knowing when, let alone if, another check is coming—smile at it, enjoy it.
future self will thank you.
the work you’re avoiding, the tedious, boring—and, if we’re honest—effortful work being avoided, is the exact work that gets you to the goals.
𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗱.
life is a constant stream of tests, of problems and inconveniences.
𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺.
handle them, swiftly, resourcefully, with the best attitude you can.
do this and you win.
it’s sunday, must use this day for rest and relaxation, reflection too.
others use this to continue grinding, working hard, nonstop.
there’s no right answer,
just as there’s no wrong answer.
be proud of yourself.
for everything accomplished,
and for what will be. 🥂
I have to admit, I have been inconsistent, shamefully inconsistent.
no excuses, none.
It’s in these times I question priorities, degrees of importances.
I am back. Indeed, I am.

steadily declining, however, here I am—posting, typing, even into the abyss, where no one sees it.

you can test the strength of a person by how they deal with uncertainty.
if they crave certainty, predictability, they tend to avoid risk—the very thing that, in all honesty—grows an individual massively.
business, or building wealth of any kind, is hard, brutal.
be willing to put in extended amounts of hours without immediate payoff, without approval.
for years.
