There's a big difference between calling the Tories corrupt and likening Badenoch to a Nigerian scammer. Why is the fact she's of Nigerian relevant to the corruption of the Tories?
Replying to @KalDore87
Then why are you still backing a party which has racially ridiculed the English people then if you care so much about racial slurs
I think his comment was unwise if it was meant racially, though I think his wider point was simply the tories are corrupt to the bone.
Let's bear in mind that if a slur were levelled at Braverman or Zahawi, for example, Jenrick would be unequivocal in his condemnation. This prevarication paints him in a very poor light, and he's not the first Reform representative to tie himself in knots on this issue.
‘Is calling Kemi Badenoch a “Nigerian scammer” racist, yes or no?’
‘…I’m not on your show to talk about what a journalist has tweeted.’
Reform's Robert Jenrick refuses to engage with @Lewis_Goodall's question about Raheem Kassam's comments on the Tory leader.

Look, I know Starmer was a charisma-vortex, but is it not a terrible indictment of our standards that we are allowing Burnham’s attention-seeking unseriousness to pass for charisma?

A disgrace that Henry Cavill is not part of this.

Christianity has not simply shaped what British people believed in the past. It has also helped shape how British people live together. I think that is what Kruger is trying to articulate. Why do some find this so objectionable? Lol.

I'm not loving these options tbh. 🫠
And yes I've said it a million times and I know it won't be.. But Bond should be Henry Cavill. 🥲
It annoys me that Shipyard is no longer on tap at Wetherspoon's, but I've gone with the next best thing.

The thing with this Green Party row is that while it may seem *somewhat* peripheral right now, it is precisely where the majority of the Left is heading, and has been for decades: into the festering sewers of irrational Jew hatred.

“I am a Jewish woman being called antisemitic. I don’t think you would sit here & lecture somebody of any other religion or race on what counted as bigotry or racism towards them in the way you have explicitly called me antisemitic..I don’t think you would do that
Miliband's Net Zero zealotry will have far reaching consequences in this country. When reviewed, in years to come, he will be seen as a tunnel-visioned and destructive member of one of the most calamitous governments in history.

In the last 5-6 years, Timothy Dalton has risen sharply up my Bond rankings. His movies are strong entries that hold up very well. People keep saying Craig brought us the serious, gritty Bond, but Dalton performs it in a more refined way - he's not the 'blunt instrument',
Instead, he's the calculating assassin, who chooses his targets carefully and uses all of his wits get his man. He's not playing on 'God Mode', machine gunning hoardes of enemies with pinpoint accuracy (looking at you, Craig), he enjoys more than his fair share of luck as in
No matter how many essays and ranking lists are published, nothing redeems this film. A film so botched, it doesn't even maintain internal consistency with its own narrative - riddled with illogic, tonally discombobulated and such a dead end, its own sequel had to spam retcons.

Only the BBC could devise a funding model where the solution to people not watching your programmes is to charge them for watching somebody else's.
Under this logic, every time I order a Domino's, I should send Pizza Hut £2.50 to support the future of British pizza.
In a dramatic twist of fate, I'm about to say "Lewis is right". Thornberry has, once again, embarrassed herself over the EU.
This is the same woman, who famously argued for renegotiation with the EU, followed by a 2nd Referendumin which she would campaign against her own deal.
It remains a travesty that Matalan was not given the chance to do Star Trek: Legacy. I would take that over all of the episodes of Discovery, Lower Decks, SNW and Starfleet Academy.
Showrunner @TerryMatalas has literallly spent his LIFE in the service of great SCIENCE FICTION. This show is yet another example of that work.

Maybe write engaging, internally consistent shows with broad appeal then, instead of using IP as a soapbox to shove your own ultra-progressive world view down viewers’ throats.
Just a thought.
Russell T. Davies, in his new memoir, The Queerest of Folk, attacks fans for abandoning sci-fi properties, which he calls a "casualty of the culture war."
“Doctor Who, Star Trek, Star Wars, they’re all being brought down by contempt."
Are fans the issue for noticing, or is putting divisive politics into these shows in the first place the problem?

Having a referendum on this question was a manifesto commitment of the party that won a parliamentary majority in the General Election in 2015.

It’s worrying how Calvin Robinson has gone absolutely mad. I remember when he was vaguely normal but rightwing. Didn’t much like him. Thought he was grifting as “the black anti-woke go to guy™️” in a way I don’t like (and have said no to doing). But he’s gone absolutely crazy.
