This screenshot (1st ss) comes from a conversation with Blazie and I, a concepting dev for BlockBound. Blazie had the idea of adding a different skin color variant to each and every Jesse skin in the game. (Check 2nd ss for more info) I thought this was quite unneeded as it would require a considerable amount of effort, work, and our budget just to have that customization option. I'm all for POC representation (3rd ss) but this seemed like spamming representation instead of fair representation to me, an unneeded addition to Blockbound. It felt bland, and our goal with the representation in BlockBound is authenticity, not extrinsic representation. The concept felt more like it was checking off boxes than trying to be authentic. 3/8 🧵
