This footage shared by a new mother is very hard to watch. ⚠️ She says it was recorded the day she came home from hospital after giving birth to her son. That should have been one of the happiest days of her life, instead she was exhausted, still healing, holding her newborn, and being threatened. Thankfully she and her son are now safe, but many women are still living with this behind closed doors, trapped by the mental and physical control that comes with domestic abuse. In one year, around 2.2 million women in England and Wales experienced domestic abuse. Police recorded 816,493 domestic abuse-related crimes, 15.4% of all recorded crime. And it's not just physical violence. Threats, intimidation, being called names and being controlled are all abuse too. October is Domestic Abuse Awareness Month. If you or someone you know needs help, call the National Domestic Abuse Helpline (free, 24/7) on 0808 2000 247. If you're in immediate danger and can't speak, call 999 and press 55.

So it turns out that those sensational media headlines about three in five Jewish pupils experiencing antisemitism in schools were based on a survey of just 90 pupils. Yes, NINETY. And only 29 pupils reportedly answered yes to the relevant question. Yet these figures have been splashed across the national media to justify proposals that threaten to silence pro-Palestine expression in schools and potentially drag Muslim and non-Muslim children into the Prevent counter-terrorism programme. This is why I hate the mainstream media. They lie, mislead and manipulate. We've been taken for complete fools by this antisemitism in schools report. And frankly, the alternative media, with a few honourable exceptions, have been painfully slow to expose what's going on. Even now, the response from Muslims and pro-Palestinians has been shockingly weak. This is about the censorship of our children, the Zionisation of education and the potential criminalisation of young people whose only offence is having the humanity and courage to speak out against genocide. Yet, apart from little old me and a handful of others, we seem incapable of mounting any meaningful pushback. Where is the outrage? Where is the leadership? Where are the organisations supposedly representing our communities?

A giant purple prosthetic penis was displayed in a public library, near children by an LGBT group. Councillor raised the obvious safeguarding concern. So naturally the council decided that he was the problem and ordered him to apologise and undergo training. 🇬🇧 degenerate Britain having a normal one.

I've just been reading the government's proposals to "combat antisemitism" in British schools, and my initial impression is that this is an outrageous attempt to effectively Zionise our education system and eradicate sympathy for Palestine amongst pupils, all dressed up as a campaign against antisemitism. Pupils can see with their own eyes, on their phones every single day, the genocide unfolding in Palestine. Yet these proposals appear to be an attempt to instruct teachers to persuade children to turn a blind eye to what they are witnessing, to look the other way and suppress their natural sense of moral outrage. Once again, the government has embraced the agenda of the pro-Israel lobby, allowing its priorities to shape education policy under the guise of combating prejudice. There must be serious scrutiny of these proposals and robust pushback from teachers' unions, individual teachers and pupils. I have no issue with combating genuine antisemitism, but it must never become a pretext for silencing legitimate criticism of Israel or suppressing solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The story with regards to the Bangladeshi couple. There are posts claiming they were on their honeymoon and others claim they had a daughter already who was seen to buy them. Does anyone know if they were newly weds?

Whatsapp hid instructions inside its help pages telling its support chatbot not to mention privacy regulators. if you couldn’t delete your account, don’t tell them about the data protection authority. if you mentioned a lawyer, don’t cite GDPR. even if the user brought it up first. 102 hidden instruction blocks across 80 pages in the HTML where users couldn’t see them. Visible to anyone who clicked the view source. Whatsapp’s own european privacy policy tells users they can complain to the irish data protection commission. the chatbot was told not to. whatsapp says it was a bug. the bug lasted from at least september 4th to october 18th. A very specific bug that only affected instructions about regulators and lawyers. OK 😂👍
‼️ WhatsApp's help pages hid orders telling its support chatbot not to point users who can't delete their account to a privacy regulator. If a user mentioned a lawyer, the bot was not to cite GDPR even when the user raised it, privacy firm Redact found. WhatsApp blames a bug.
