A 36 year old man named Shaun Mckenna who violently raped a 13-year-old girl at a Highlands campsite, has been spared jail due to his life-limiting medical condition. He was diagnosed with the degenerative condition Huntington's Disease in 2022. The 13-year-old child was on holiday with her family in 2020. She was alone when he came in and pinned her down, lay on top of her, and raped her. The girl tried to fight him off, but he told her, "to stop crying and screaming as well as to shut up.” He said if she told anyone, “he would do it worse." McKenna also committed sex crimes against two other children before that. The judge said each offence on its own was a reason to go to jail, but did not feel prison would meet McKenna's specialised needs. He will instead be supervised at his care home in Kinross, where he is not allowed to leave on his own. This is beyond fucked up. Every man who rapes a child deserves to spend his life in prison

I’ve decided that I will continue sharing this picture. Too many people have told me that sharing their faces will ruin their future. I keep responding the same way: Sweetie, that’s what I’m counting on.

The man on the left is a convicted child molester who admitted to sexually abusing young boys for years. The man on the right is his friend, who sentenced him to one day in jail. He didn't have to register as a sex offender. Your kids aren't safe in Ken Paxton's Texas.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re celebrating the players who have proudly represented their heritage in Pirates history. 🇵🇦 Panamanian infielder Rennie Stennett spent nine seasons in Pittsburgh and was a member of the 1979 World Series championship team. In 1975, Stennett made history by going 7-for-7 against the Cubs, still the modern-era MLB record for hits in a nine-inning game.

Remember when Donald Trump took out a full page in the New York Times demanding the death penalty for five innocent Black young men because he intuitively knew they had raped a woman in Central Park when they were INNOCENT? Remember how wrong he was about that? Please never forget that every time he tells you he knows better than the generals, he knows better than the doctors, he knows better than the teachers, and he knows better than the scientists.
