There's no neutral Christian. A lot of believers think staying out of politics is the holy option. The Bible teaches the opposite. "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan." - Proverbs 29:2 Look at what we're being asked to stay neutral on. There were women at a Georgia victory party chanting "Abortion is so back, baby!" A party that can't tell you what a woman is. A new Ag Commissioner talking about state money "for our Black farmers," as if the farmer down the road isn't one of ours too. Kids taught to see themselves as victims or oppressors by their skin color. That's not a difference of opinion on tax rates, that’s evil. "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil." - Isaiah 5:20 The left loves to say "Love wins" and calls itself the party of peace. But they've redefined love as affirmation and peace as no one being uncomfortable. Affirming everything isn't love. It's just easier. Their peace means nobody's uncomfortable, but God's peace means things are made right. If you won't celebrate what they celebrate, you're "hateful." If you push back, you're "divisive." "Love wins" usually means "agree with us or else." That's not love. It's a threat. The Bible defines it differently. "Love does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth." - 1 Corinthians 13:6 Love tells the truth even when it costs you something. A parent who never says no isn't loving. And peace was never the absence of conflict. Jesus said, "I have not come to bring peace, but a sword." - Matthew 10:34 Real peace comes from things being made right, not from everyone keeping quiet about what's wrong. God put His people in government on purpose. Joseph ran Egypt's economy. Daniel served kings in Babylon. Esther walked into the king's court "for such a time as this." None of them sat it out. Neutrality is a mask modern "progressive Christianity" loves to hide behind. It sounds humble. It's a cop-out. And it may be even worse than being on the left. Jesus said it plainly to the church in Laodicea, "I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth." - Revelation 3:15–16 He'd rather you be cold than lukewarm. At least the person on the left believes something. The neutral Christian knows the truth and won't stand on it. "Whoever is not with me is against me." - Matthew 12:30 "Whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin." - James 4:17 Voting, speaking up, and caring about the laws your neighbors live under isn't putting politics over Jesus. It's loving your neighbor where it counts. Calling for love and peace without understanding what they cost is neither loving nor peaceful. The cross reminds us of that.

Anytime you wonder how Georgia could vote this way, remember there are people who choose to pull for the Hawks every single year. Losing is a lifestyle.

“Racial Privilege” is one of the most misused terms in our society over the last few decades. One of the most ignorant things people do in this country is to talk about racial privilege. (For the record, this clip is from 2020. It resurfaced during her campaign, and she hasn't walked it back.) Look up the definition. Merriam-Webster defines privilege as "a right or immunity granted as a peculiar benefit, advantage, or favor." Name one law in America that gives white people a right nobody else has. You can't. If anything, the irony is that some DEI policies hand out advantages by race, just not to “white” people. That's a different rabbit trail. Opportunity and privilege aren't the same thing. If you want to talk about real privilege, talk about being American. Free speech, freedom of religion, the right to bear arms, a jury trial. Most of the world doesn't have those. A middle-income American is richer than 93% of the people on earth. Even the poorest 5% of Americans are richer than about two-thirds of the world, and when you add in Medicaid, food stamps, and housing help, even the poorest among us are better off than about three-quarters of the world. That privilege doesn't come with one of your biological traits that is actually on a spectrum, known as your skin color. It comes with your citizenship. The only reason she can sit on national TV and call half the country "ignorant" and "complicit" is American privilege. To anyone who tries to push a “privilege” talking point as an American and can't see the irony of lecturing people about privilege while being one of the most privileged people on earth, you fall under the definition of a hypocrite. You want to “open” everyone else's eyes, but you can't see the reality of the world from your own, regardless of race.

September 11, 2001. We said we would never forget. Yesterday, Nov 3, 2026. 25 years, 1 month, and 23 days later we forgot.

The Israelites had barely made it out of Egypt before they wanted to pick a new leader and go back to slavery, because at least Pharaoh fed them. As a nation we have it so good we actually have the luxury of entitlement. Nowhere else in the world can you attack the very hand that feeds you without consequences unless you are the greatest at that moment. Only in America… And the UK… And the Roman Empire… And the promised land… And Eden…

We'll have full election results breakdown / reaction on next Live Free episode, but some quick thoughts... 1) The Sovereignty of God over all things is a deep comfort. As the old Christian saying goes, "I don't know what tomorrow holds, but I know Who holds tomorrow." “For God is the King of all the earth; sing praises with a psalm! God reigns over the nations; God sits on his holy throne.” (Psalm 47) 2) It is sad and grievous. Romans 1 says God’s “passive wrath” is when he “gives them up” to their sin and evil desires – when He stops restraining a people from destroying themselves and lets them have the evil things they want. The United States intentionally chose things like max-boosting infant murder up to the moment of birth, legislated sexual perversion that will wreak havoc on a rising generation, the expansion of Islamic influence on our nation, elected leaders openly hostile to Christianity, and in at least 2 cases (TX and Kansas) chose what the New Testamant would define as (and I do not say this lightly or flippantly) demonic, apostate false teachers to lead them. This is an example of Romans 1 playing out before your eyes. 3) There is no political solution to a spiritual problem. Politics cannot fix what politics did not break, and Mankind was broken long before any political system. The hope of the world has been and remains Jesus Christ, reformation and revival in our nation that has the ability to reach inside the chests of men and women and make them new men and women who want (and vote for) new things. Christ is the only way out of the chaos. 4) Important lessons to be learned for conservatives. Wisdom would not be to blame *everything* on "dumb / evil voters." Basic leadership: "Face the brutal facts (learn and adjust), maintain unwavering faith." 5) Sadness is ok, but despair is a sin. "Therefore, we DO NOT lose heart" (2 Cor 4:16). Head up, chest out, knees down, glory up... do not grow weary in doing good, we build and fight (Nehemiah). What are we going to do? Get up with joy in our eyes, love in our hearts, steel in our spines and keep assaulting heaven for an outpouring of God's Spirit, sharing Christ, planting churches, making disciples and deploying them in all areas of society in eager anticipation of the next Great Awakening in our land. Tomb's still empty, y'all :) 6) We do what the people of God have always done in time of need: WE PRAY. See you at Encounter tonight at all Lakepointe campuses at 7pm, doors open early for you to come and "pray for the prayer meeting."

To everyone worried about Bottoms as Governor, go ahead and unclench your bottoms. Is Bottoms winning good? No. Does it mean she will be as bad of a governor as she was mayor? Most likely yes. Does it mean there are roughly two million morons in this state? Also yes. The same ones that Stacey had four years ago. The real problem isn’t them. After all, you can’t fix stupid. The real problem is the nearly 3.5 million eligible voters in the state that didn’t vote at all. You’re the real problem. Your selfishness is evident in so many problems we face as a society. Not voting says you’re lazy, entitled, and not willing to stand up for what’s right. Basically the same things the leftist agenda is built around, and even though it’s frustrating that someone could actually vote for Bottoms, it’s far more aggravating those who just flat out didn’t vote. As my grandfather says, “It’s pure sorriness.” And he’s right. It is. But the good news is we as a state won’t have to be sorry just because you’re sorry. Georgia will be fine either way. Republicans always have a majority in the House and Senate at the state level, and as a result the governor is more of a glorified figurehead with not much effect when they’re on the opposition side. We will survive, Georgia will continue to thrive (despite Keisha), and it’s still a great state to call home. All choices have consequences, and to all the Georgians that “chose to not vote,” you got exactly what you voted for.

Assuming Republicans do indeed lose the House, the premise of my post about who's to blame still holds, but the second part will be a rough ride. We'd better buckle up.

Keisha Lance Bottoms quit Atlanta after the crime spike and the fees. Yesterday Kemp and Jackson called it: bad mayors don’t make good governors. Today’s the vote. Talking points or a real income tax cut in half for Georgia families. Rule number three in life: Don’t be a democrat. Vote today!

Rick Jackson in Cumming last night: cut the state income tax in half, freeze property taxes. Keisha Lance Bottoms quit Atlanta after the crime spike and the fees. Tomorrow we decide if talking points beat a real cut for Georgia families.

Obama showed up in Clayton last night to tell us Keisha Lance Bottoms cares. The same Bottoms who quit Atlanta after the crime spike and the fees. Now she and Ossoff want the rest of us to trust the same record. Talking points aren't a record.

Mike Collins toured a Georgia hospital with the Trump administration to highlight nearly $219 million in new federal funding for rural health care. Jon Ossoff answered with another rally. Talking points aren't a record.

Keisha Lance Bottoms wants cities and counties to drop local grocery taxes, with a $250 million state backstop if the legislature agrees. Georgia already ended the state grocery tax. Rick Jackson's cuts don't wait on 159 county commissions.

Keisha Lance Bottoms held a one-woman show in Macon last night. Said Rick Jackson doesn't care about Middle Georgia because he skipped it. Funny… the same Bottoms whose Atlanta record we're all still paying for.

Georgia's touchscreen voting system still has a known flaw that can match voters to their ballots. Early voting starts October 13. The State Election Board declined to force the fix first. Secret ballot is in the state constitution. Why is that surprising at this point?
