Grey Bruce County continues to experience extreme and unpredictable winter weather, including high winds, whiteout conditions, and dangerously reduced visibility.
We are strongly urging all motorists to avoid travel at this time. While roads may not be officially closed, conditions remain unsafe. If you do not need to be on the roads today, please stay home.
Staying off the roads helps keep snow plow operators and emergency crews safe as they work through whiteout conditions to keep routes open.

I am very concerned to learn that Ontario is considering changes that could eliminate rent control, opening the door to rent hikes that could push people into homelessness - making an already bad situation worse.
I grew up in a one bedroom apartment and while my mom and I didnβt have a lot, we had enough for us to stay there. Rent control was a lifesaver for us. For a government to even think like this is terrible and I will be opposing this every way that I can.

Weβre expanding the Canadian Dental Care Plan. Starting today, Canadians aged 55-64 can apply. In the coming weeks, applications will open to Canadians aged 18-54.

Because of this plan, millions of people can now afford to see a dentist β some for the first time in decades. Soon, millions more will get that same care.

One would hope that at least one party would recognize and address the United Nations Concluding Observations to Canada, in relation to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
If disability isn't on your party's platform, you are not representing Canadians. If you are not representing Canadians with disabilities, you shouldn't be the party in power.
