Kaspa. Pure proof-of-work blockDAG at 10 blocks per second. Transactions appear nearly instantly and reach high-confidence probabilistic settlement in a few seconds. Fees are typically fractions of a cent, so a $2 payment settles cheaply and finally on L1 with no layer 2.

Kaspa. Yonatan Sompolinsky (GHOST co-author with Aviv Zohar) co-designed GHOSTDAG, enabling its live 10 BPS pure PoW blockDAG since the 2025 Crescendo upgrade. Ethereum adopted a GHOST variant for uncles and later LMD-GHOST in PoS, but the high-rate PoW realization has drawn limited direct attention there beyond the shared academic roots.

Bitcoin and Litecoin use single-chain Nakamoto consensus: one parent per block, orphans discarded. Faster intervals raise orphan rates and dilute security. Litecoin’s 2.5 min is a modest parameter tweak. Kaspa’s BlockDAG + GHOSTDAG lets blocks reference multiple parents. Parallel blocks stay, ordered by connectivity into a blue set. This yields 10 BPS while keeping the 51% threshold, as the PHANTOM/GHOSTDAG paper proves—no traditional speed-security trade-off. Kaspa is the clear leader in pure PoW scalability innovation. Absolute economic security still favors Bitcoin’s scale and history.

Ah! Finally some initiatives in this direction 👀
Kaspa Dollar Seeks 5M KAS to Fund New Stablecoin KaspaDollar (@KaspaDollar) has announced plans for a decentralized stablecoin on the Kaspa network (@kaspaunchained) $KAS. The initiative is led by core developer @asaefstroem and targets 5 million KAS in funding. The project aims to raise the funds to cover development, independent auditing, research, and launch operations. KaspaDollar is planning an overcollateralized stablecoin designed to reduce Kaspa DeFi's reliance on assets issued elsewhere. The team says recent developments, including the Toccata hardfork, have expanded the network's capabilities. Contributions will be refunded if the target is not reached by January 1, 2027.

You're not ready for what this means for $KAS 👀 This is basically the first stone that sets in motion smart contracts on Mainnet Kaspa's technological value is about to skyrocket and push the price floor up by quite a bit
Greetings $KAS. KCC-1, KCC-2 and KCC-20 are now Final, meaning they are ready for full adoption across the ecosystem. We invite Kaspa builders to join the public KCC channel to ask questions, get support, discuss implementations and share what you build. Come build with us.

five things from this week in Kaspa dev. i have numbered them to appear organized. 1 / KCC standards KCC1, KCC2 and KCC20 are now Final. devs have shared conventions for how covenants, permissions and fungible tokens work together, ready for wallets and apps to adopt. xitter.cf/kccforum/status/211292… 2 / wallet public keys @OriNewman proposed a wallet convention that keeps public keys hidden until funds are spent, reducing their exposure to future quantum attackers. originally KIP22, it’s now under review as a KCC. spending still reveals the key. github.com/kaspanet/kccs/pul… 3 / Kaspa Privacy Initiative @WellerOlaf shared a private-payment experiment on testnet, followed by a recovery test. wallets were restored and the full test balance withdrawn with the original app controller disabled. the rest of the test infrastructure stayed available. still experimental. github.com/olafweller/kaspa-… 4 / Kastle @KastleWallet added support for dotK names. users can view, register and transfer their .k names inside the wallet. the mobile update is rolling out, with name support also available in the extension. xitter.cf/KastleWallet/status/21… 5 / KaspaDollar @asaefstroem is leading a new initiative to build an overcollateralized stablecoin on Kaspa, backing each dollar of tokens with more than a dollar of collateral. development, research and an independent audit are still ahead. xitter.cf/KaspaDollar/status/211…
Today we are introducing KaspaDollar, an initiative led by core developer @asaefstroem to build the first decentralized stablecoin on the $KAS network. The developments around @kccforum and the Toccata hardfork have considerably widened what Kaspa is capable of. Capability alone, however, does not make an ecosystem. Decentralized finance requires a unit of account that holds its value, and until Kaspa has a stablecoin of its own, every application built on it will remain dependent on assets issued elsewhere. The design we intend to follow is the decentralized, overcollateralized stablecoin: a pattern whose security properties have been examined and tested across the industry for the better part of a decade. With the support of the core team, we consider the conditions right to bring it to Kaspa. Realizing this requires development, an independent audit, further research, and the operational work of taking a protocol from specification to production. To fund it, we are opening a fundraiser with a target of 5,000,000 KAS. Contributions are made directly to the fundraising address published on the website. Should the target not be reached by 1 January 2027, every contribution will be returned to the address from which it was sent. Up until that point, this account will share the plans, details and progress of the work as it develops.

@binance, Thanks for including me in the top 100 blockchain people list, appreciate the signal! I must decline the Dubai invite though. I do not wish to disrespect, but many of the award voters are avid kaspians who rooted for my kaspa status at least as much as for my research. Let them win or count me out. Crypto has turned from a euphoric cypherpunk project to a house-friendly casino. You may not be the culprit, but as a top player you hold the lion’s share of the responsibility to correct this, and the October crash your USDe oracle glitch helped trigger adds to what needs to be addressed. There are three classes of crypto, as @mert put it recently: commercial crypto, casino crypto, cypherpunk crypto. <<Binance should hold a privilege policy for the latter.>> A TBTF CEX should know better and play a different game with hardcore crypto projects. When binance lists a green frog three weeks post its “launch” but skips a fair-launched-Nakamoto-Consensus-100ms-upgrade-ATH-top-20-the-only-nonbitcoin-marathon-mined project, this is not merely binance rationally calculating; it is also binance molding the market in a way that is alas misaligned with the roots of the movement. You may feel that kaspa’s sovereign money thesis is boring – that bitcoin is already money and that implementing an internet-speed bitcoin is useless - fine. Wrong but fine. But what’s the thesis for the green frog? Money is a classic chicken-and-egg product. It is a scam up until one moment before tipping point, “most of the value comes from the value that others place in it.” Considering your resources and influence, I think it's safe to say you can serve as both the egg and the chicken and make it worth your while to push sound attempts towards tipping point. @cz_binance tweeted recently that “strong projects will be listed.” But binance is part of what defines "strong", it bears responsibility for the market’s compass and impulse and definition of strong. It is not a read-only entity. Binance listing fees are legit, they are just unfit for category cypherpunk. Kaspa devs and early supporters fairly mined less than half what satoshi and hals mined. We don’t have a 20% ZEC-style founders’ reward or protocol-enforced dev fund; this is not a jab at ZEC and the wonderful @Zooko, who was crashing in my car on a late Thursday back in the low ZEC MC days – if somebody deserves to win it is zooko – but assuming binance is not taking a maxi bet, it should revisit its relationship with hardcore crypto. We are here through bull and bear, ICOs NFTs XYZs; and we are the source of confidence that restores faith and capital inflow post meme-induced or CEX-induced crashes. Please fix this. Thanks again, hashdag cc @michaelsuttonil Exhibit A: Binance Innovation Zone Exhibit B: 10 bps Nakamoto Consensus

i’ll do everything in my power on the technical side to help this initiative move forward and navigate any protocol-level obstacles along the way. on a personal note, Alex has a rare mix of technical depth, bizdev talent and deep Kaspa knowledge. i honestly can’t think of anyone better suited to lead it, and i really appreciate him taking this on

💎 KASPA ($KAS) UPDATE | From Fast Money to Programmable Layer-1 🪨 The blockDAG network is quietly transforming its fundamental landscape while squeezing the supply dynamics. Here is where $KAS stands right now: 📊 Market & Price Action: • Spot Price: ~$0.038 USD • Market Cap: ~$1.05B (Ranked #73) • Key Structural Levels: Holding steady inside the macro accumulation zone above the $0.0374 support. Bulls are waiting for a high-volume breakout over the $0.042 resistance. 🔥 Crucial Ecosystem Milestones: 1️⃣ KCC-20 Standard Finalized: On October 21, the KCC Coordination Forum officially finalized the KCC-1, KCC-2, and KCC-20 specifications. This establishes unified Layer-1 rules for fungible tokens, dApps, and wallets. 2️⃣ Privacy Breakthrough: Developers recently rolled out a successful testnet (TN10) Proof-of-Concept for native, optional private payments utilizing ZK-proofs and covenants. 3️⃣ 96% Mined Out: Over 27.7B KAS out of the 28.7B hard cap is already in circulation. Monthly emissions drop by 5.6% due to the chromatic schedule, making KAS incredibly scarce as 2026 closes. As programmability takes hold and block rewards dwindle, is Kaspa preparing for its next major cyclical expansion? 🚀⏳ #Kaspa #KAS #KASUSD #PoW #BlockDAG #Crypto #Altcoins #Web3
