Yes, @SirPatStew was a socialist. I didn't watch his work because of his politics.
I was 14 when he came onto my screen for the first time as Captain Picard. I didn't care about his politics then.
I still don't because I come from a time when people could disagree and still get along.
That time is apparently long gone, though.
As if using AI to reanimate people wasn't bad enough, these people have been lying as well.

I honestly can't admire Sadie Miller enough for her courage to stand up to AI sloppers using her late mother's likeness without consent. AI slop polluting the #DoctorWho community/fandom has gone too far already, and we shouldn't be afraid to call it out.

A Doctor Who actress’s daughter has criticised the makers of a fan-made series after they used AI to recreate a character played by her late mother.
Sadie Miller was upset by the use of AI-generated images and sounds to reproduce the character of Sarah Jane Smith as played by Elisabeth Sladen, Ms Miller’s mother, in the BBC sci-fi series.

Very sad to hear of the death of John Leeson. I was lucky to chat to him 3 times for the WhoRays (a charming, thoughtful, good-natured guest) & he was always so game to join in with a project, playing K9 on our CBBC 'I Am Ethan' film in 2013. I'll always be grateful. RIP John
