One way to make a start on that would be to recognise that the argument we are being “challenged” via these deductions amounts to an admission that they serve no purpose beyond being punitive, and must therefore be brought to an end, and lost money repaid. 21/21

The marking and assessment boycott begins today. All UCU members should boycott any marking and assessment processes that contribute to summative assessment until further notice. The threats of disproportionate deductions from employers demonstrate the power of the boycott.
