A new study has revealed health risks caused by core body temperature during open water comps. 🏊
In collab with @EuroAquatics, findings showed clinical hypothermia and mild hyperthermia can co-present in the same cohort.

Delighted to have completed another data collection with @EuroAquatics at the final Leg of the 2024 Open Water Swimming Cup in Croatia 🏊♂️ This testing is part of a larger project characterizing swimmer’s core temperature responses in divergent water temperatures/environments.
