Let me make it perfectly clear. We owe no one an explanation. Hamas took our people hostage, including a baby. The four rescued hostages were kept in a CIVILIAN home, guarded by Palestinian terrorists in CIVILIAN clothes, in one of Gaza's most crowded CIVILIAN markets.
We rescued our people, and Hamas told you yet another lie, "it was a massacre". You, as always, chose to believe them.
The problem here is you and Hamas. Whether 200 or 2000 Palestinians died, it's not our problem. We're cool, sweetheart.
Ask your mates Hamas not to use CIVILIANS to keep the hostages, and ideally not to do it in Gaza's crowdest civilan markets.
We just want our hostages back. Whatever Hamas puts in the way between us and our hostages is your and their problem. We're good with eliminating WHATEVER gets in the way of releasing our hostages. Simple and easy.

When Israel rescued 102 hostages from Entebbe in 1976, after Palestinian terrorists hijacked a plane full of Israelis to Uganda, UN Sec-Gen Kurt Waldheim (who served in the Wehrmacht) condemned Israel for a “serious violation of sovereignty.”
This isn’t our first rodeo.

I have two words for anyone telling Israel to give up trying to rescue hostages by force, and they start with an “F” and an “O.”

This is Greece representative singer at @Eurovision , @marina_satti .An embarassment for Greece and for every decent #Greek person. Pretending to fall asleep while the Israel’s contestant is speaking is not just bad education or pure jew-hatred,but also a stain over the greek nation she represents in front of the world.

We have been made aware that survivors of the 7th October terrorist attack on the Re’Im Music Festival were discriminated against by @UKBorder when arriving @manairport.
We have requested an urgent investigation is commenced and assurances are received to ensure passengers with Israeli passports are able to travel without discrimination.
Thank you to the team at Manchester Airport, as we are aware they have immediately acknowledged and recognised the severity of the allegations contained within our correspondence.
This issue primarily rests with the Home Secretary and we call upon @JamesCleverly and @ukhomeoffice to ensure this matter is dealt with as a matter of urgency.

The absurdity knows no bounds:
Israel:
“They massacred, beheaded, and raped our women and children!”
The international community: “Yea, we don’t care until you prove it!”
“Ok, here are the testimonials.”
“Sorry, not good enough.”
“Sure. Photos.”
“Fake.”
“Ok, here’s video evidence.”
“Sorry, you’re gonna have to do better than that”
“Ok, here are the actual victims and their stories.”
“Liars!”
“Here is Hamas admitting it all!”
“They aren’t reliable. They don’t mean it.”
“Here are the bodies.”
“Prove that Hamas did that and not the IDF.”
Israel: 🙄
Hamas: “Israel killed 10 zillion people in Gaza, 100% of them are children. Trust us.”
The international community: “It’s a genocide!!”

More atrocious details on Hamas’ mass rape: “They all gather around her. She’s standing up. They start raping her. I saw the men standing in a half circle around her. One penetrates her. She screams. I still remember her voice, screams without words. Then one of them raises a knife and they just slaughtered her.”
A two-month investigation by The Times uncovered painful new details, establishing that the attacks against women were not isolated events but part of a broader pattern of gender-based violence on Oct. 7.
Relying on video footage, photographs, GPS data from mobile phones and interviews with more than 150 people, including witnesses, medical personnel, soldiers and rape counselors, The Times identified at least seven locations where Israeli women and girls appear to have been sexually assaulted or mutilated.

My take on Hamas’ playbook on @TimesRadio :
1: Kill as many civilians and soldiers as possible in Israel + take hostages
2: Drag Israel in to a war in Gaza
3: Hide behind Palestinian civilians to cause enormous casualties (Hamas knows Israel will be aggressive regardless of risking civilian lives)
4: Mass casualties means huge international support for Gaza, both on the streets & in governments 🌍
5: Anger at Israel ignites worldwide antisemitism, more support for Hamas.
6: International uproar means immense pressure on Israel to allow more aid in to Gaza, which Hamas also benefits from.
7: Finally, hope the pressure will be big enough that Israel will agree to a lasting ceasefire which will allow Hamas to continue to exist in Gaza. Last point will be the hardest and seems unrealistic. – at Israel

It’s a reference to Cambodia, but very poor taste that the Times chooses to run with this the day after one of the world’s greatest statesmen dies. There’s no evidence that Kissinger and Netanyahu are connected by anything other than being Jewish.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Henry Kissinger and PM Netanyahu were together on 21/09/23 - eight weeks before this tweet.
The Israeli Government have themselves declared on their website that the two “have known each other for many years” and refer to Kissinger as “a friend of Israel”:

Yaniv Yaakov, the uncle of Or, 16, and Yagil, 12, who were held hostage by Hamas in Gaza:
“Two days ago we got the children back, they were released and told us about what they experienced in Gaza, terrible stories. "
"One example is that they took the leg of each child taken hostage and burned them with the exhaust of a motorcycle to mark them in case they ran away, so that they could find them. They were drugged, they were treated so badly, but they are with us.”
