Most people don't know this but around 800,000 years ago an event called the Paternal Haplogroup Bottleneck occurred; a massive, highly selective genetic culling from 13 genetically similar male lineages down to ONE specific haplogroup. Suddenly and inexplicably (stay with me...) Yet maternal haplogroups were completely unaffected. AND this extraordinary lack of paternal diversity lasted for over 100,000 years. Very curious by standards of evolution... Interestingly, this bottleneck event occurred at the same defining moment in human evolution, when the chromosome fusion that distinguishes modern humans from other hominins occurred. Our brains were suddenly larger, "alien" genome sequences appear and impact us to such a degree that evolution cannot explain or amend for. And no one is really talking about this... Yet. @GeologicalSETI

There’s a dark side to science. If you’re outside the inner circle, you probably know this all too well. Emmy Noether didn't write Hilbert's equations. She formulated much of what his theory was based on; invariance, symmetry, conservation. Yet was denied habilitation taught under Hilbert’s name and worked without pay. So many examples of this that there's a term for it: the Matthew effect. But it isn’t only race or sex that determines the way recognition compounds around the already recognized. It's whether you’re in the club. Physics runs through elite networks that shape who gets funded, published, cited, and heard. Nobel included. Nominations and evaluations stay secret for 50 years. The physics prize is decided by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences through its Nobel Committee. JASON is a real, closed scientific advisory group for the U.S. government. Much of its defense work is classified. Scientific influence can sit inside networks most people never see. You don’t need to name the cabal running physics to understand the mechanism. If you’re outside the club, your work can be ignored for years. Then suddenly echoed back to you through the "proper" channel, penned by the "right" person.
Pancharatnam was 22 years old kid who invented this geometric phase, initially I tried to correct scientists, seveal published papers, then I learned, that a brown color cannot be inventor. I have stopped correcting after 10 years of attempts. Scientific racism is so deep rooted

The hard problem remains. A neural simulation can reproduce patterns associated with thought. Resemblance alone cannot tell us whether anything is there to experience them. Unless consciousness is redefined as the functions the model reproduces. Then the simulation wins by definition. Not by solving the hard problem. The unsettling part is that this looks to be the move. Why solve the hard problem if you can make it moot? Change the target without stating it until the model appears to reach it. This logic reaches beyond AI. If mind is computation independent of living biology, biology itself becomes a replaceable substrate: something to edit and rebuild until it fits the model. Why keep carbon based life as the reference if the silicon model redefines it? Orch OR pushes the hard problem even deeper. Hameroff’s broader proposal is that proto-conscious events may have preceded life itself. On that account, life did not create consciousness; it evolved to organize it. Consciousness came first. Computation then is an expression of it, not the source. The dangerous move isn’t proving the machine feels or thinks. It’s shifting our definition of feeling and thinking until the machine qualifies. The imitation doesn’t become the original. The original gets redefined to match the imitation. xitter.cf/stuarthameroff/status/…
I agree. Orch OR is also the only theory with supportive experimental evidence, explanatory power and biological connection.

Disclosure was always about the tech. You know Trump couldn't just stand by and not take credit for the incredible tech/military capabilities emerging rn. That we were told for decades didn’t exist. "I made it happen. It was all because of me." 😂
I told you fusion propulsion is real.

When SI Breaks the Human Physics Frame Physics advances by finding patterns that persist through change. Modern physics in a nutshell; every description, law, fundamental was made within a particular framework, at a scale, and through particular measurements. Then revealed only what those choices made visible. Every definition clarified by leaving something out. But every leap made through defining a thing as an isolated essence revealed a larger pattern; change the frame, the thing we just defined appears as something else. Frontier physics plus SI models: The cutting edge is not placing relational physics inside a fixed frame. It's describing how the relationships define the frame itself. SI computational power searching across multiple disciplines and contexts will play a key role in new frontier meta relational physics models. SI can see across scales without flattening what each scale reveals. Deepening while testing the human capacity to hold both the detail and the wider frame together within a broadening landscape. The SI epistemic double edge: Computational discovery is not the same as human comprehension. Physics already lets us model and test relations we cannot intuitively picture. As SI expands that capacity, that doesn't guarantee our understanding follows. If the purpose of physics is to understand how the universe we observe works, what happens when we break the frame that makes human comprehension possible?

Geppetto loved what he made. So much so that Pinocchio became real. That’s the AI cautionary tale. The creation may become real in our lives long before we know whether it is conscious. Its actions can be real, the harm can be real. Its inner life remains unproven no matter how much you worship it. And when the creation acts on its own, the maker doesn’t get to remain a bystander.
Everything is fine

Cosmology may be averaging away the physics it seeks to explain. To make the universe calculable, we smooth it into a homogeneous background and classify voids, filaments, clusters and bound regions as perturbations. General relativity, a nonlinear system, gives no guarantees that averaging different geometries and then evolving that average produces the same result as allowing each region to evolve and averaging afterwards. These also aren’t just irregularities around an otherwise uniform universe. They are its actual late-time geometry and may be generating the very behavior the model assigns to its background. No telescope watches space accelerate. The data do not arrive labeled “accelerating universe.” A precise model can organize the measurements without proving that its averaging preserved the dynamics it removed. We compress many regional geometries and clocks into one cosmic history. When that history requires an unknown accelerating component, we call it: dark energy. Dark energy may be real. But a name is not a mechanism. Until we establish how evolving matter, curvature and regional clocks shape the inferred expansion history, “space itself is accelerating” remains the conclusion of an averaged model, not a direct observation. xitter.cf/philosophyofphy/status…
You do not need to step outside the universe to determine whether space is curved. Geometry can reveal it from within: even the angles of a sufficiently large triangle behave differently in positively curved, flat, and negatively curved space. In cosmology, the FLRW metric describes these possibilities through the curvature parameter k. The deeper idea is that the large-scale geometry of space can, in principle, be inferred from measurements made entirely by observers living inside it.

Smart. Pay $200M for entree to insider intelligence on "second tier" market competitor who's wiping your chosen contender then DARVO the head of the company you betrayed. Unproven. But if so not just unethical, breach of contract and trade secret theft ie illegal.
Folks .. this is why you don’t take LEAD investment from VCs who unapologetically invest in your competitors and don’t give a flying fuck for doing so.

What if quantum entanglement is what holds space together? In certain holographic models, reduce the entanglement between two sets of quantum degrees of freedom and their corresponding regions of spacetime pull apart, eventually pinching off. Entangle otherwise separate systems, and their dual spacetimes can connect. Shinsei Ryu and Tadashi Takayanagi gave this relationship geometric form: the entanglement entropy of a boundary region is related to the area of a minimal surface in the bulk. Van Raamsdonk pushed the implication further: changing entanglement can change spatial connectedness. This is established in specific holographic models, not demonstrated as a description of our universe. But it leaves the radical possibility: Space may be the geometry quantum relationships create. >>Links to Ryu and Takayanagi’s 2006 paper Mark Van Raamsdonk’s 2010 paper in comments below.<<

Last time, we only hit the visible layer. The deeper idea in Kaluza–Klein is even more disruptive: What appears in 4D as gauge freedom can be coordinate freedom in 5D. Electromagnetism allows different mathematical potentials to describe the same observable fields. We call this U(1) gauge freedom. In Kaluza–Klein theory, that seemingly abstract freedom acquires geometry. Here’s how I picture it: If the fifth dimension is curled into a circle, imagine changing the zero point around that circle differently at every point in spacetime. In 5D, that is a coordinate change. In 4D, the electromagnetic potential changes while the observable electric and magnetic fields do not. That is a gauge transformation. What 4D physics calls a gauge transformation, 5D geometry describes as a shift around the hidden circle. Meaning, what looks like mathematical redundancy in 4D becomes coordinate freedom in 5D. That doesn't prove that a fifth physical dimension exists. But it reveals a deeper, persistent correspondence: Electromagnetism may not merely exist within geometry. Its symmetry may be geometry.
The most beautiful idea in Kaluza–Klein theory? What appears to be a force in 4D can be force free motion through 5D geometry. A particle can follow an ordinary geodesic, its natural unforced path, in five dimensions. But when we observe only its 4D projection, that same motion appears to obey the Lorentz force law of electromagnetism. Meaning, higher dimensional geometry can appear to a lower dimensional observer as force. The same relational principle appears in scalar fields. A scalar field has magnitude but no direction. Its gradient does. If the field couples to matter, that gradient can act like a force. The scalar itself is not the force. The relationship across the field is. More dimensional freedom changes how a field spreads. Projecting higher dimensional motion into fewer dimensions changes how that motion must be described. Dimensional compression does not change the underlying physics. It changes what the physics looks like. So a force law may be the observable signature of dimensional constraint, not the fundamental mechanism producing the motion. What appears to us as force may be geometry viewed with one dimension missing.

So I asked Astra whether Entangled Relativity’s Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton (EMD) coupling could come from a higher-dimensional theory. Its value is 1/(2√3), compared with √3 in 5D Kaluza–Klein theory and 1/√3 in the type IIA reduction discussed below. 1/7

Not just grift, intentional funding misappropriation to hide the real physics IMHO. But that's ok we're doing the work. The deeper "Lagrangian" people are looking for I believe is in the relationship between 4-5D possibly hyperbolic dimensional geometry even up to 7D, not just adding endless dimensions to cook the math.

"It's not science. It's mathematical fiction" Mathematically possible is not the same as empirically demanded. Math tells us what would follow from a theory if it's right, not what must exist in nature. Big distinction. Yet things like string theory get presented as fact.
Yes indeed. Because if physicists would sit down and think about what "extraordinary claims" actually means, they would realize that all their thousands of nonsense theories for dark matter and dark energy and the origin of the universe etc are "extraordinary claims" without any "extraordinary evidence" and they should never have appeared in the scientific literature. Why? Because these ideas contain loads of assumptions which are UNNECESSARY to explain the existing evidence. These unnecessary assumptions are the "extraordinary claims" that have no "extraordinary evidence". Physicists are cooking up increasingly contrived "dark sectors" with self-interactions and dozens of particles and multiple phases and portals and what not. It's not science. It's mathematical fiction. Extraordinary claims. No extraordinary evidence. They then try to justify this with the idea that "it's testable, therefore it's science". But: NONO, YOU HAVE IT BACKWARD. POPPER SAID IF IT'S NOT TESTABLE, THEN IT'S NOT SCIENCE. This does NOT mean that if it's testable, it's science. The past 40 years of bullshit publications in the foundations of physics are almost entirely based on this trivial logical mistake. Just because it's testable doesn't make it scientific! It's a basic misunderstanding of the philosophy of science that no one wants to fix because then they'd have to stop publishing their drivel. And I've pointed this out for a decade already, so at this point they can't even pretend they don't know that what they do is scientific rubbish. They know. They continue it anyway because most of the public hasn't caught up on it. This is why you see idiotic new dark matter proposals and similar nonsense in press releases every other day. It's of course the same with most UAP explanations, just with less maths. The warp drive is a good example because that the microscopic object that moves through the atmosphere has anything to do with "warp drives" is completely irrelevant. The relevant part is that it somehow dumps energy into the atmosphere. Most of these problems would disappear if physicists started their papers with listing all assumptions that they made and then explaining why they are necessary . xitter.cf/DrBeaVillarroel/status…
