Presenting our work on absorption measurements of Si3N4 for lightsails at @Materials_MRS #F23MRS tomorrow, 10:45 AM. This work involves self-referencing photothermal commonpath interferometry with collaborators at @KatsGroup, UMN Twin Cities, UW Physics and USNA.
We're extremely happy to share that Mikhail (@mickeykats ) has been awarded the @UWMadisonECE 2023 ECE Outstanding Graduate Student Mentoring Award!
Our group member Erick Yin (along with Sabrina Wu) clicked a beautiful time-lapse of the aurora borealis event visible in Madison, WI.
The view from ECE PhD students Sabrina Wu and Erick Yin's UW-Madison apartment set the scene for amazing time-lapse videos of the recent aurora borealis.
