I’m Japanese. The riots in France are NOT some student protest.🇫🇷
This is terrorism. Far-left Black Bloc militants incited Muslims, Palestinians, and immigrants from the Maghreb to riot.
But the ones I blame most are the French government under President Macron for allowing it to happen. The left-wing government bears the greatest responsibility.
I hate the left.
I can’t vote because I’m Japanese, but I support RED in the November 3 US midterm elections. 🟥🇺🇸

France people are racist towards Japanese people 24/7 the Japanese people are seeing the truth about censorship and political correctness. Japan has every right to defend anime and manga industry no matter what. anime and manga are made of storytelling not political tools.

As a Japanese... Non-Japanese fans are insufferable. They don't watch/buy the anime officially. They don't buy official merch supporting the creators/company. They buy 3rd party merch from China or Etsy and call themselves "true fans" and act like they are part of the community
But in all seriousness, the reaction from Japanese One Piece fans to people using the Straw Hat Jolly Roger in protests has been genuinely pissing me off. So many of them are more concerned about people bringing One Piece into real-life politics, calling it dangerous rhetoric and worrying that the series could get banned in certain countries, than they are about WHY people are even using it in the first place.
And I think this perfectly highlights the disconnect between Japanese fans and international fans. For some of them, One Piece is a manga they love and want to protect from controversy. For a lot of us, its themes of oppression, corruption, government tyranny and the fight for freedom hit a little closer to home. Some of us have lived through these things. Some of us have watched our families and loved ones suffer and die because of corrupt governments and injustice.
They can afford to treat these themes as fiction because they don’t necessarily have to relate them to their own reality. But when people who have experienced these things firsthand see the Straw Hat flag as a symbol of resistance and freedom, why is they’re first reaction to police how other fans use it rather than understand why it resonates with them in the first place?
And that’s what bothers me. Instead of trying to understand why people from completely different backgrounds see themselves in this story, they’re dismissing it as dangerous political rhetoric that might get one piece banned in these countries

The people who tell you Sonic, Luffy whoever would hate you turn around and use them to commit acts of terrorism, they say they hate AI and care for the environment but destroy properties. Stop using Japanese IPs to do this shit if you also think Japanese media is for pedos

They're no resistance. They're scammers, violent criminals, and terrorists. Filthy cowards and parasites who do nothing except beat their chests with stolen valor who stand on the shoulders of giants and larp as heroes when instead they're puny rats who've never had to stand for anything difficult in their entire life.
They are the rotten bad guys anime heroes would defeat and humiliate.
Stop weaponizing anime as a license to act like an animal in your desire to burn down small businesses and destroy a nation's history.

Take notice of the anime content creators that are not speaking up about how anime is being used for Terrorism in France.
Accompany this with the VA stuff earlier this week. Its pretty damning

The fact you got so many likes for you being upset with the Japanese calling you out is proof how infected the Anime Community actually is
