There's 8 billion people in the world, he could give everyone a billion dollars and still have 343 billion left
Ignore the haters and consider moving to Bluesky where there is a more supportive audience. Your work is so appreciated by so many. It is one of the few reasons I check my feed on X. #photography

We’ve teamed up with @amazon to improve access to goods in @SanJuanCountyWA. Amazon is now delivering packages directly to the islands instead of using the USPS. To help with this, we’ve set aside rarely used parking spots at our #FridayHarbor terminal for delivery vehicles.
Read up on @Bluesky, it doesn't litter your feed with junk. I am here just to read a few people but not for long. There is an app to migrate your follows. #migration #Bluesky
Prison: Day 6,557
When almost 200 followers dropped off, due to them leaving X, I was slightly surprised. What is so bad about X? Here, I have free speech. In prison I have none. Here, I am equal. In prison I am treated subhuman. Here, there is diversity of opinion and thought. In prison, there is forced segregation, where opinions are dangerous. FINAL THOUGHT: Those who desire to be the arbiters of mis and disinformation, seek to imprison the minds of critical thinkers, silence the voices of opposition and crush the people's God-given right to express dissatisfaction with those in power. Today's mis and disinformation is often tomorrow's provable truth. Those who are afraid of ideas and questions are not concerned with truth, but with power.

Gisèle Pelicot finished taking the stand in mass rape trial against 51 men, and said the "macho, patriarchal society that trivialises rape" must change. What this woman has done for history and women is astounding, her courage unfathomable, no honour is too great. MERCI 💙🤍♥️
But you didn't open City Hall for the unhoused....shame on you! #Seattle
As we brace for strong winds, I urge all residents and businesses to take necessary precautions. Secure outdoor items, charge devices, have extra clothes and blankets ready, and ensure your emergency kits are stocked. Find more tips and resources here: powerlines.seattle.gov/2024/…

In every state, police officers are allowed to lie to adults during an interrogation. Legal advocates are pushing for a deception ban that would end this practice. npr.org/2024/10/21/nx-s1-497…

Rather than focusing on my anger, my vigil was making passesby know about the #ERA
107 years ago today, over 30 women's rights activists in Virginia were horrifically brutalized by 40 guards at the Occoquan Workhouse prison in what's been called the "Night of Terror." The attacks, fueled by the state's systemic support of the patriarchy, were intended to intimidate the suffragists through physical abuse and psychological degradation. These brave women were locked up for practicing nonviolent civil disobedience and picketing the White House to pressure President Woodrow Wilson to support the 19th Amendment. The level of cruelty inflicted onto them was shocking.

Listen to the memorial for former Washington governor Dan Evans online. What a stunning man who loved his country and the wilderness.
What a beautiful tribute to a giant of a man. #hero #wilderness #washington #eaglescout
