2/ why guardian recovery matters
seedless wallets solve the problem of managing seed phrases, but introduce a critical question:
what happens if you lose your phone?
weβre building recovery directly into Haptix on-chain architecture, so losing a device doesnβt have to mean losing access to your wallet
3/ your address stays the same
Haptix recovery rotates the authorized signer through the on-chain Anchor program
your wallet address remains unchanged, so your SOL, SPL tokens and NFTs stay at the same address throughout recovery
4/ guardians can't spend your funds
guardians can initiate the recovery process, but they don't receive permission to transfer your assets
their role is to help restore access, not take control of your wallet
5/ recovery has a veto window
recovery isn't supposed to be an irreversible action that anyone can trigger without safeguards
Haptix includes a timelock that gives the owner an opportunity to cancel a malicious or accidental recovery request using their passkey

OCTOBER 25, 2026 β A DAY I WONβT FORGET. ππ
Today, I lost $1,200 trading Step 400 and Step 300. Both my personal money and an investorβs money were lost because I allowed revenge trading to take control of me.
I knew the rules.
I knew the risks.
I knew what I was supposed to do.
But knowing what to do and having the discipline to do it are two different things.
Today, I learned that lesson the hard way.
I'm not writing this to gain sympathy or pretend to be a perfect trader. I'm writing this because I want to document my real journey, not just the wins, profits, and green screenshots people love to post.
Behind every trader you admire, there may be battles you know nothing about.
Today, I lost money, but I refuse to let this experience be meaningless.
I take responsibility for my decisions. I need to rebuild my discipline, protect capital, and become the trader I know I can be. I also owe my investor honesty, accountability, and a clear conversation about what happened.
I'm hurt, but I'm not giving up on becoming a better version of myself. I'll take a step back, learn from this mistake, and work on the person behind the charts.
My journey isn't over. This chapter is painful, but it doesn't have to define the rest of my story.
One day, I'll look back at October 25 and remember not just the money I lost, but the lesson that changed me.
I WILL RISE AGAIN. NOT THROUGH REVENGE TRADING, BUT THROUGH DISCIPLINE, PATIENCE, AND CONSISTENCY.
