🚨🚨Missing foster care child Philadelphia area
This is not okay. 14-year-old David Aubrey reportedly vanished from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, after stepping outside to take out the trash at his foster home — and hasn’t been seen since.🚨🚨

Brutal Fight happened today between two parents during Parent-Teacher conference when the mom in grey hoodie made fun of other mom child’s Down syndrome.
Was it worth the chaos? 👀

🇨🇩Stop calling it a conflict. The scale of the violence, millions of lives lost, mass displacement & systematic use of sexual violence all tells a different story.
This is a gen0cide. And it must be named. Because words matter. What we call something shapes how the world responds
Dear Nondisabled & White Autistic People,
Do not get mad at us for creating a space for black autistic people and their families that you don't relate to. Can you sit down and listen us about our experiences instead of being divisive and being entitled to our experiences.

If influential public figures tied to autism causes have platforms that reach millions of people, why aren't more of them using those platforms to tell their audiences that Black autistic people deserve visibility & acceptance?

🖤 ONE WEEK AWAY! 🖤
We are officially one week away from the inaugural Black Autism Acceptance Day Observance and Virtual Summit One of the most intentional decisions we made for this inaugural summit was to make it FREE Because access matters.
We know that many disabled people & families dont have extra money for conference fees, registration costs, or expensive event badges That should never mean they have to miss out on information, resources, connections or conversations that could impact their lives, a commenter recently said,
“The people who most need to be in that room are usually the ones a badge price keeps out.”
That stayed with us. We don’t want a price tag to be the reason someone cannot be part of this conversation, especially in our inaugural year Information doesnt always have to be locked behind a paywall. Resources should be accessible.
Community should be welcoming. Everyone who wants to learn, listen, connect, support, & celebrate Black autistic voices is welcome. Registration is OPEN and space is LIMITED. Tell a friend to tell a friend. 🖤

Can we stop talking about Raven Symone and give Kyla Pratt the flowers she deserves? This girl carried a generation on her back with Proud Family, Dr. Doolittle, One on One, love, basketball, Fat Albert. Come on.🖤
