In a place where women have their hair cut off for not wearing a burqa, where they are paraded naked and beaten so brutally that they die in hospital in agony…
A culture and a system of values that treat women and children with such contempt and exploit them are doomed to destruction.

The man is Majid Kavousifar, who was executed in 2007 for assassinating a judge who had sentenced as many as 3800 people to death. Kavousifar assassinated the judge in retaliation for being falsely convicted of alcohol possession. He is not known to have had a daughter.

EPA understands Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) system failures are a MASSIVE issue for farmers, truckers, and other diesel equipment operators. We are actively working to address this issue at Trump speed with today’s latest action to demand information from manufacturers on critical data from DEF system failures.
The data collected will allow us to independently evaluate ongoing system failures and help inform our next steps. This is the first, not the last, action EPA will take on DEF in 2026.
