Dakorien Moore will be in the transfer portal in January. We have not kept our word & I wish him the absolute best in his future endeavors. Oregon has failed him, miserably.
The best WR prospect in school history & we’ve literally wasted him during his time in Eugene. Indefensible
But unfortunately you didn’t answer his question directly. You’re saying that Oregon’s OL is complacent due to their NIL but not putting any accountability on the coaching staff that’s preparing them for battle each week. While I agree, part of it is what you stated, I also think the better teams do not run into this issue as frequently because their standard is met week in & week out. Theirs no fall off, persay. If you think the issues with Oregon’s OL, just Oregon, is NIL or motivation driven, I simply cannot agree.
It’s not just Oregon, it’s a CFB challenge. OL is HARD. And to be frank, I believe the money some young players are making has impacted their hunger and resolve to develop.
Development isn’t a one-way street. Some players think coaches wave a magic wand and BOOM, they become better players. It can be ugly and uncomfortable. And that’ll never change.
But early financial success can create a false sense of arrival. So the discomfort can turn to DISCONTENT real fast. So coaches have to now manage that.
We’re all witnessing a period of developmental purgatory while the game course corrects… and it will.
Our OL currently, is made up of all HS, home grown talent. Been here & in the system for 2-3 years. They’ve sat behind those Joe Moore Finalist. Outside of Josh Conerly Jr & Pancho, everyone was a transfer. Had years of experience under their belt. Now I ask, what’s the point in keeping Alique when the guys he brought in & developed, are not ready to play? Yes Drew got fired today but Alique’s OL has not been good this season & you can try to lie your way out of it because theirs not a single metric that states otherwise. You just playing captain save a bro.

John Harbaugh took over a last-place Giants team that had endured double-digit loss totals in eight of the past nine seasons.
Now they’re first in the NFC East and have matched their win total from last season.
Despite losing their starting QB, sack leader and leading tackler to injuries.
Coaching is important.
Update @JimEltringham?
Replying to @JizzChasNY @TheGiantsWire
They don't have the talent to be up 14-6 on the Texans. Houston has fixed it but have to take care of business. You just can't lose to a team like the Giants at home.
Tides changed? Colorado still fucking sucks, Oregon having a bad season, them MFers been ass for YEARS

Oregon Relieves Offensive Coordinator Mehringer of Duties

I used to pray for times like this 🙏🏾
Oregon is set to part ways with offensive coordinator Drew Mehringer, sources tell @CBSSports
Only local media I tend to listen to the most is @zacharycneel & @DuckFootball. I used to rock with @JamesCrepea the most during his time covering the ducks. Anyone not in that trio, I truly do not lean into a lot
I mean, Lanning is incredibly snarky, rude, and arrogant in his responses to us in local media, but he doesn't yell exactly. It's actually worse the way he treats local media.
I get the need to get national attention for recruiting, but local media are the ones fans connect with and fans in the stands still matter. By alienating local media he starts to alienate the very fans that he says he appreciates so much.
My overall fave is @mtorressports & I understand he’s not local but that’s my guy right there 🤝🏾
