Another milestone, another reason to be grateful to God.
The journey of learning and growth continues and I am pleased to have earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Energy Law.
Beyond the academic achievement, this new knowledge will further equip me in my parliamentary work and enrich my thoughts, perspectives and contributions to the energy sector.
To God be the glory. – at Accra, Ghana

GUEST LECTURE JUNE 22, 2026
On June 22, 2026, I hosted Hon.Alexander kwamena Afenyo-Markin ( @AfenyoMarkin ), Minority Leader of the 9th Parliament of Ghana on behalf of my senior Kow Essuman (@kaessuman ) for a guest lecture at the GIMPA LAW School (@GIMPA_Greenhill ). In his company was Hon. Prof. Kingsley Nyarko (@DrKingNyarko1 ), MP for Kwadaso Constituency.
He took the class through the jurisprudential issues and practical lessons from the cases of Benjamin Eyi Mensah Vrs Attorney General & Electoral Commission and Dr Mark Assibey Yeboah vrs Attorney General & Electricity Company of Ghana which bothered on the Constitutional rights of electorates per Article 42 and public finance thresholds and condition precedents amongst others per Article 181(5) of the Constitution 1992, respectively.
The engagement was great and we hope to have the Learned and experienced lawmaker back to the classroom soon.

In 1989, Seikwa selected and sent me to the Wenchi District Assembly as the Assembly Man.
They did not expect speeches from me. They expected me to listen, carry their concerns to Wenchi and come back with answers, and to do my best.
This set the foundation of my political career and shaped the values of accountability and integrity that have underpinned every leadership role I have held since.

As part of our study tour of Japan, I had the incredible opportunity to visit 3R, a cutting-edge environmental technology company leading the way in sustainable innovation.
3R has developed advanced, game-changing technology capable of recycling water and cleaning contaminated soil by completely removing harmful heavy metals, including mercury.
Seeing this innovation firsthand was truly inspiring, especially as we look for sustainable, long-term solutions to restore our lands and waterbodies impacted by Galamsey.
Innovation like this proves that with the right technology, determination, and foresight, we can heal our environment, protect our natural resources and secure a safer, cleaner future for generations to come.

This is very disappointing. Time, I thought, reveals its lessons through the weight of experience and the subtle shifts in perception that only hindsight illuminates—but no!

You just imagine Lawyer Kwasi Botchway had described President Mahama as a womaniser. He would have been in police custody by now.

They lose an argument and they resort to ad hominem.
If it wasn’t for politics, how would this disease of a human being call a former president and a legendary lawyer a drug addict.
