They鈥檙e swapping eclairs for flakes in Cadbury Heroes. It鈥檚 nice to get some good news now and then. Eclairs are fine, but they never belonged in that mix. Much better to just have a bag of them on the side.

I was lucky enough to see a dry run of @calebporzio 's Livewire 4 talk last night.... In typical Caleb fashion (as with every talk) I was left with - there's stuff in here, I NEED to tinker with and soon!

Celebrity Traitors.... When Claudia came out with those two chests did anyone else think we were going to be playing carrot in a box? Sean Lock you win! #CelebrityTraitors

Anyone else getting phishing attempts shared to their Google Drive? Really annoying! @Google

Thinking of reviving my Twitter, just everytime I login it doesn't grab me, where are my SaaS builders, Podcast Listeners and runners?

My first disappointment on Laravel Cloud, no way of getting Tinkerwell to run a simple command. Going to have to create a command or a migration, or hook my local install to the live database? Am I missing something? #Tinkerwell #Laravel #LaravelCloud

Been loving Laravel Cloud for my current side project, tried to add a real domain to it tonight and it's just whirring on verifying DNS records for ownership that I can clearly see on the DNS at Cloudflare. Weird!

Tried @IKEAUK 's service where they bring it to your local Tesco store in a two hour timeslot today, it sounds brilliant and convenient - and probably is when it works! Got the message they were on their way - turned up - order wasn't on the van 馃し #ikea #fail

The driver (third party) was brilliant and rang Ikea for us, they gave no explanation but arranged a free home delivery but not for a couple of days 馃槬 Sounds like a great service, but annoying when it doesn't work!!! #fail #ikea #clickandcollect

Please share! I'm spending the evening with Highworth Scouts we are learning about being a good digital citizens. I would like to show them how quickly something can spread on Social media. Please share this and let's see how far we can get it in the next hour!

I have two favourite Black Friday purchases: 1. My Shokz headphones, I live in them!! 2. Laracasts - Forever plan (tinyurl.com/Laracasts) YouTube for Laravel devs (and it's 50% off right now!) #Laravel #Developer #CodingJourney

Losing 4 hours to Livewire today because it warms you if you have two root divs, warns you if you have a root div followed by a style tag, but if the style tag comes first, no warning and Livewire just doesn't work! #laravel #livewire @calebporzio

#Scout leaders/volunteers! I'm a trustee of our local scout group & hoping to do some #JOTI on Friday 18th October around 19:30-21:30 UK time (18:30-20:30 UTC/GMT). We're probably going to Discord, but I'd love to find some overseas groups to Zoom with? #scouting

You don't have to be from the opposite side of the world - just somewhere other than the UK would be a novelty for our Scouts. If there's enough interest, I'll set something up so people can pair up? Zoom is slightly less tech than Discord so might open it up to more people!

Biggest mistake yesterday? Upgrading to MacOS Sonoma on my M2 Air, WITHOUT exporting MySQL datatables first! Homebrew no longer installs MySQL 5.7, I can't just point my datadir at the old ibd/frm files in MySQL 8 or 9. Between a rock and a hard place! Everything else works!

I've worked around it and got it up on MySQL8 via homebrew that will do for today and I can backup all the databases with a mysqldump ready to import some time soon on a more updated MySQL.

Trying to catch up with Laracon from yesterday, who annoyed SME and got the stream pulled? I've seen the second stream for the second half of @taylorotwell 's talk but wanted to catch some of the earlier ones (before @calebporzio 's talk today!) #Laravel #LaraconDallas #Laracon

Summer holidays off to a flying start... I'm coding in Laravel (situation normal) this morning, whilst the eldest is sat with @jeffrey_way doing a @laracasts PHP Fundamentals course! By the end of the summer he might well be after my job! #Laravel #PHP #SummerHolidays #STEM
