Equiscore BI was designed for the DEI professional-intuitive, easy-to-use platform allows for quick onboarding so that your team can get to work right away tracking your DEI activities against your goals to analyze progress and impact. #dei #SeeDEIDifferently #solveforequity
You can't change what you can't measure. But not everything measured indicates equitable or structural progress. #SystemsChange requires clarity on structural barriers, setting standards for equality, and measuring accordingly. This is what @SolveforEquity is committed to.
In an article from @Bisnow, Joe Ritchie @tishmanspeyer shares that we have to make DEI a business priority, yet goals, measurements and metrics vary widely, so success is increasingly difficult to quantify. We aim to solve this with Equiscore BI.

Please say this again @DrJordanJWhite. And there is something to be said for the work of #BellHooks in driving this point forward. Collective change requires #TeachingToTransgress, disrupting the "sage on the stage" paradigm & replacing it with #AntiOppressive pedagogy #SJWYF2022
Replying to @matty_aub @Keiterms
Moving from individual level goals (whatever they may be) and integrating these goals into action for collective change is a part of the challenge of addressing awareness, agency, self-efficacy etc. at all levels. This concept is central to praxis and pedagogy.
This sounds like building a personal and continued critical consciousness @DrJordanJWhite. Outside of an academic setting, what are ways professionals can step into this call to action? #SJWYF2022.
Replying to @courtneybusch4 @Keiterms
Ultimately, these concepts push us to consider norms that may be oppressive. Oppressive practices can take many forms. Developing an awareness of this is an important step in applying or working with these concepts.
And I dare say, envisioning those new approaches with participations. #SJWYF2022. What has that looked like in your own work @DrJordanJWhite?
This Q gets to the function of #SJWYF2022! We'll talk about the work of #BobbieHarro and the #CycleOfLiberation next week alongside the work of the Black Panther Party. Both focus on self to systems work that can be done in community. In the meantime: learningforjustice.org/podca…

who is not from an academic background or doesn't know of these higher-level concepts start the journey for themselves? #SJWYF2022 (2/2)
So many directions for this Q. There is a lot of work emerging on the science of somatics. It's worth checking out the works of @ResmaaMenakem (My Grandmother's Hands) and @prentishemphill (prentishemphill.com/collecte…) who have built practice around this interaction. #SJWYF2022
Thank you for joining our class and tweet chat today! @DrJordanJWhite I'm really interested to learn more about radical healing and the role critical consciousness can play in healing spiritually, mentally, and physically. #SJWYF2022
The Q holds the answer from my POV. We continue #RadicalHealing and #RadicaHope because opression is on-going. They are the gifta we give ourselves in resistance, not a request bc the oppessor needs it too. I'd Love for @DR_LJParker + @DrJordanJWhite to weigh. #SSJWYF2022

on where we are today. What if these events continue. For example, the recent leak of SCOTUS draft on Roe vs. Wade will disproportionately harm marginalized communities. How do we continue radical healing and hope to benefit the individual when the trauma progresses? #SJWYF2022
This is great question for @DrJordanJWhite to talk more about. I will say thr article shared in class today leans into the role of critical consciousness, cultural authenticity, radical hope, collectivism, and resistance. #SJWYF2022 ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/article…

@DrJordanJWhite, @Keiterms , @DR_LJParker, research has shown that knowledge alone often isn’t enough to promote behavior change. (Q1) So how can we transform knowledge about radical healing into action? #SJWYF2022
This is such an important lens to cary into all #publichealth #policy #practice, and #research. What feels like a first step to moving this into practice in your project with @Revivaljdv and their community impact work? @l_russyruss #SJWYF2022
Today I learned about the concept of radical healing. This refers to a concept in which we are “seeking to challenge the status quo or existing political ideology.” Thanks for a great class @DrJordanJWhite, @Keiterms, & @DR_LJParker! #SJWYF2022
Excite to be in the room with #TBBT. @SolveforEquity and @LadyNLD discuss #DEI and #Equity, at the Maryland HFMA: Inclusion & Equity in Health Care Annual Conference. Understanding equity as a culture or measurable processes and outcomes. #Solve4Equity #MDhfma #HealthEquity
A: Alongside measuring who your hire and promote...recognize its more then the work of your DEI person. Equity is everyone's job and should include the voices of those most impacted. Center the voices of those people, measures the interventions impact over time. @SolveforEquity
A2: Know what the issues are, the defintions, and what the data says so you know what to change. Every person in the organization has to know what their equity role is. Take the same approach as other change process. It take discipline and a commitment to the work.@SolveforEquity
