Last night, Republicans lost the U.S. House, the U.S. Senate, and my home state of Texas, a conservative cornerstone for more than three decades, because our party forgot the basic rules of coalition politics:
1. Add, don’t subtract
2. Be likeable
3. Do what you promised
4. Character & integrity still matter

Great words from @BessentKody about @natesheetsforTX. His bus tour comes through Lubbock early next week, and he'll be around West Texas for several days after, check his socials or Cotton News to see where you can meet Texas's next Ag. Commissioner! bit.ly/4i2dkB3

Cornyn adviser responds to Paxton, in leaked audio, claiming Cornyn isn't helping and wants him to lose:
"He’s running the worst U.S. Senate campaign in Texas history and anywhere this cycle. This is not debatable. That’s not Cornyn’s fault."
Why is Ken Paxton losing, Adam?
Outside of Axiom’s fake poll, Ken hasn’t led in the general ever. Not once.
Blaming Cornyn is dishonest, disreputable, weak and false. For anyone who mindlessly does it.
Ken needs to find a way to win.bus team needs to identify the way and execute.
He’s running a general like a primary. He’s running the worst U.S. Senate campaign in Texas history and anywhere this cycle. This is not debatable.
That’s not Cornyn’s fault.
Stop pre blaming. Stop whining. Win your fucking race. Leave the rest of us alone.

Cotton has never been an easy crop.
It has weathered drought. Markets. Rising costs. Changing policies. Changing times.
And still, every year, producers put seed in the ground believing in what comes next.
That’s the story of cotton worth telling today.
On World Cotton Day, we celebrate more than a crop. We celebrate the people who keep choosing it, fighting for it and building its future — one season at a time.
Cotton is resilient because cotton people are resilient.

Texas produces some of the best food in the world. When we support Texas-grown products, we strengthen our economy, create jobs, and keep our rural communities thriving. Investing in Texas agriculture is an investment in the future of our state, and that's a win for everyone.

“Terrorist attacks can shake the foundations of our biggest buildings, but they cannot touch the foundation of America. These acts shattered steel, but they cannot dent the steel of American resolve. America was targeted for attack because we’re the brightest beacon for freedom and opportunity in the world, and no one will keep that light from shining. Today our nation saw evil, the very worst of human nature. And we responded with the best of America.”

In his push for private school vouchers, Gov. Greg Abbott has repeatedly emphasized he has no intention of harming Texas public schools.
But this week, Abbott acknowledged that his priority policy would in fact result in public schools losing money. bit.ly/3CQNZcD
