Why? Everyone is chasing tools. It’s HARD to quantify the mental game. Just tools don’t win at higher levels.
Happening in the ⚾️🥎 space too. Tools are good, but they better be paired with ⚾️🥎 IQ, anticipation, quick decision making, and the ability to make adjustments.
Got to visit with @TroyTrojansSB today! Love the passion the staff has for player development! Don’t sleep on the Trojans this season!

One question every coach should regularly ask:
“What’s it like to be led by me?”
Not, “what do I intend?”
Consider the actual experience of the people you lead.
True development AND winning go hand in hand. Learning how to consistently play winning ⚾️🥎 is a SKILL. It must be developed!
I would take 9 players who know how to win over 9 toolsy players that don’t any day!
Words matter.
They can build up or tear down.
Encourage or discourage.
Heal or wound.
Bring life or bring death.
What we say is never insignificant.
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” — Proverbs 18:21
Choose words that give life.
The constraints are the bats! @TrinityBatco
Wait to you hear about the new partnerships launching soon 👀
DM me if you are interested in learning more!
Looking for 8-10 15u National teams interested in playing in two wood bat events this summer. College venues, great umpires, 🚫 stay for play, minimum gate fees included in reg fee, 7 inn. games, and no insane reg fees. Not looking to make money. Looking for great comp!

If we coach every player towards the same movement pattern, we may unintentionally remove solutions that are functional for that individual.
Competitive culture is built from the top down! When your coach wants to play anybody, anywhere, and under any circumstances…the players embrace the same mentality. Play ball!
NEW: San Diego State head coach Sean Lewis on facing UCLA👀
"I got plenty of experience where there's a galaxy of stars and talents on the other sideline, and I'll take me and mine against them all. Their polos, all their khakis, all their resources, all that. Put the ball down, let's go play."

🥎⚾️ Coaches/players…@TrinityBatco isn’t just selling bats. We are PARTNERING with you to help develop the best versions of your hitters/yourself.
It’s DIFFERENT.
DM me. I would love to connect about partnering with you!
I got a chance to visit with @LSUsoftball yesterday. The staff, the facilities, the development, the players, the student managers, the technology, the details, the overall vibe…IMPRESSIVE!
Got a feeling it’s going to be a fun season in Baton Rouge!

Train with feedback. Play with confidence.
Blade Barrel.
⚾️ Game weight.
⚾️ Built to hit real ⚾️.
⚾️ Two flat sides. Two round sides.
The flat sides give instant feedback when your barrel isn’t on plane. The round sides reward flush contact, all while swinging like your gamer.
Good hitters aren’t built by mindlessly taking 100s of swings.
They’re built through intentional reps that challenge movement, barrel awareness, timing, & feel.
That’s why we built our Hitter Development System—to make every swing count.
Develop the hitter, not just the swing.
Can someone help me understand why all travel ball orgs can’t be governed by the same rules? It seems simple to me…HS events follow NFHS/Pitch Smart rules and youth events should be governed by USA Baseball/Pitch Smart rules.
